Update about a year later. Two out of three floats started overflowing, so I removed them, cleaned and one went back to working like it should, but the other is still overflowing. The come apart easy and clean in vinegar, so not hard to clean, just not sure why the one isn't working correctly. I will probably purchase again and give the next set a try to see if they do better. Update a few months later: More of them are leaking and need cleaning again and again some seal and some don't. I've moved away from these type of floats and went to the more expensive type that are all brass and reside outside of the water and use a float and rod to control the water level.
