Our kitty seems to enjoy the taste of this powder - it smells kinda like nutritional yeast. Certainly doesn't slow him down when mixed into wet food. He's an elderly cat with unpredictable bowels. This stuff really helps sorta stabilize things and keep them moving (but not *too* fast).
