Why spend more money?
The wheels are legit and so far I have zero issues. They are lightweight and look nice on my bike. They have performed flawlessly and I would not hesitate in making another purchase. These wheels will be put through the ringer and I will update as the miles add up. So far about 125 miles on them. Paired them up with Continentals Grand Prix 4000's II 25mm. I like them very much thus far. You could spend way more money, or you can spend less on a very inexpensive great quality carbon wheel. Worth the money, plus they have a 2 year warranty for manufacturer defects, lifetime crash replacement program (discount for new wheels)Wanted to add that before riding I had my local bike shop Incycle check them. The bike tech said they were very well built wheels.Update added another 75 miles and about 2200 feet in elevation gain up in the San Gabriel mountains. What goes up must come down ;-) Climbing was no problem with the wheels that were designed with climbing in mind. Coming down the wheels felt stable. I almost reached 40 mph or 64 kmh on the way down on the winding road. Tha was lots of fun. No issues at all. I'll make sure to keep updating as I ride.Update, as of 4-7-2019 I am at over 400+ miles with no issues whatsoever. Have rode mainly on tarmac and the roads are not in the best of shape as we've had a above average rainfall this winter. So the roads are not in the best of shape. Wheels have done great on some bumpy roads. Going up and down the mountains. Brake surfaces are holding up nicely and I can pretty much stop when I want.Another quick update 5-31-2019I'm at 1100 miles on the ican wheels and still not one issue. They are still running true and I'm still going up and down the mountains as well as the flat roads. Very happy. Money well spent.Updated 8-29-2019Well after 2100 miles, still no issues. Great wheelset thus far. No complaints.

initial reaction, 4 month and 2.5 year update
So far so good. Wheels were to spec within 3 grams. Package includes rim tape (add 15 grams each wheel). Skewers also included (add 54g each). I shaved a pound off the total weight of my bike with these wheels. Brake pads included. They seem sturdy. They were true round right out of the box. Did not have any issues mounting tires on these rims (no more or less difficult than any other road bike wheels I've ever had). Hubs seem smooth so far. Shimano 11 speed cassette fits perfectly with no adjustment to the derailer needed after putting wheel on bike. Comparable name brand wheels are 3 times the price. Now to put some miles on these bad boys...ADDENDUM:4 month review (1000 miles on mostly good roads): I took the bike in for a routine tune up recently and they confirmed wheels were still round and true. No issues with changing tires on these wheels (I use 25c's on them). I don't notice any significant cross wind problems. I'm very happy with these wheels. Would definitely buy ICAN wheels again.2.5 year and 8,000 mile UPDATE...Great wheels. They cracked (actually a chip at the edges) when I hit a deep pothole with sharp edges at 25 mph (I also flatted both tires and sent my water bottles flying). But they didn't completely collapse and I was able to maintain control to get out of the pace line safely. So I credit these wheels for saving me from serious injury. And guess what I'm going to replace them with? You guessed it... another set of ICAN wheels!Replacement order update...I ordered the replacement wheels as a custom order, without the logo. The do offer a slight discount for replacement wheels but you pay them directly through PayPal and you lose Amazon buyer protections if you do that so I just ordered via Amazon without the replacement discount (they are still worth it). Initial delivery estimate was 4-6 weeks but it arrived from China in a week and in great condition. I'm very happy with these wheels and the company's communication has been excellent. Looking for new wheels? Look no further, ICAN has so many to choose from.
