This is a waistcoat that will go great if you like to combine textures with traditional wool or blended suits. But beautiful enough to stand on its own and still enough of a gorge to reveal a tie knot.

We didn't think this would be as good as it is for the price. It's a very nice vest.

Very sharp and comfortable. Wish there were options for a longer length, but since I’m 6’ 5” that won’t be a problem for most people

I’ll start by saying I love what this vest WILL be once I’m done making some (not too strenuous) modifications. Fabric is great, sizing is true, build is solid. Has functional exterior pockets.The cons:-double breasted to me means the ability to button up from either side, IE two full sets of button holes. This only had one. I also specifically like the look of folding back the vest on itself and wearing it open on the front, so will be adding another set of button holes.-speaking of button holes, not all of them were opened? The top one on the vest, as well as these two odd lapel button holes that have no corresponding buttons?!?-buttons are oddly small given the size of the button holes. They’re also sewn on with a weird maroon color thread, which is strange given the color matching of the fuchsia thread to fabric is otherwise very good. I may replace them anyhow, so, eh.-construction is somewhat more boxy than fitted-lapels are oddly cartoon-like in size-no inner pocket (I know… but given the overall weight and general quality of this, it feels like it should have an interior pocket)Again, none of these things are deal breakers, and if you’re prepared to make some modifications (or are okay with it as is), for the price you can’t beat it.

The appearance was exactly as the picture detailed and the buttons gives its a classic look. The fabric is rich and perfect to mix even with a classic suit.

When I first opened the package and felt the weight and quality of the material I was blown away. This is not some cheap rental. Well absolutely be ordering more for other special occasions.

This vest has NO LEATHER anywhere on it , it also runs large. I like the design and the form but feel really cheated at this NOT being leather, beware of this company's statements and products !!!!!!

i got purple in a size large. I normally wear about 41 or 42 regular blazer size. the large fits me well in the shoulders, but i had to cinch it up quit a bit in the waist area. but i think it looks good that way. the purple color is a true grape purple. the material is like a faux suede. its a little heavier in weight that i expected for a vest. i would not layer it, but use it as just an outer piece. great buy. I may get the British tan color as my next purchase.
