It might look bigger in the picture than it is but is not disappointing small - is very nice, warming the place, and smells like in the salt mines if you're not adding oil - which is great - people are spending money to go in these mines and sit there for hours to inhale the salted air. It is considered a form of halotherapy. Studies showed improvement in symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease following halotherapy and Inhalation of hypertonic saline can stimulate bronchoconstriction, which may be used in the diagnosis or evaluation of asthma symptoms. I bought this for a sister of mine and when I opened it I instantly decided I was gonna by one for myself. Idk why people are poking at the fact that it's small. I didn't expect some huge lamp I expected it to be a little nightstand light, not something that lit up the room. It's a healing lamp and the natural oils go great with it!

I just received this last night and couldn't wait to get it to my desk (my area/cubicle needs some healing powers).Everything came wrapped, non broken items, an extra light bulb, directions and a cute burlap bag of salts- the right amount to fill to the top.It was delivered SO FAST, in 2 days ( 3 actually given a holiday was in between).My only 2 issues are, I was testing the light bulb in case I need to change it in the future and I cannot get the bulb unscrewed from the unit. I guess when the time comes I can ask a man for help. 2nd issue, which I understand is great for shipping and transporting- you tend to forget the stand is separated from the decorative glass globe. So any wrong move, that bulb will come out and rocks are flowing out of the bottom. Once it's in a spot- LEAVE IT and remember that it's not connected!Yes the light bulb does not have a protective barrier around it- I'm going to assume this is safe, granted that oils will touch it?? Just place your rocks slowly and carefully- it's pretty simple.Next will be a test with oils.I've already had compliments and people wanting to know where I got it from- I've already sent them the link. :)

Cute little lamps to hold the salt rocks! I bought three different ones: Fishes and both of the butterfly ones. These do come in separate pieces, so you have to assemble them, which was a surprise, but then it feels like your own little creation. The cords are long enough to be able to put most places without having to get an extension cord and it has an on/off switch. I leave mine on all the time, as was suggested, to get the most benefit.Special thanks to Nomads Aromatherapy for the great customer service.

I have the "sun" lamp, and I'm very pleased with it. I use it almost every day for many hours in my home office, not only for the salt's ability to purify the air, but also as an essential oil diffuser. In my case, it's not surprising that the bulb burned out after 6 months of use. When I contacted the company about replacement bulbs, it responded immediately and even sent me a free bulb. You can purchase six of them on Amazon for $7 or so.

I bought this as a gift for my Niece. She was aware of the positive benefits of pink Himalayan sea salt lamps.She loved it. She loved how it looked and loved that it was going to have a positive impact on her bedroom.She uses it as a night light because it is a gentle light and not overly bright.

Got this for my mom for Christmas and she absolutely adores it. It's a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it more than makes up for that in cuteness factor. The picture really doesn't do this piece justice. I'll probably even buy one for myself at some point. Arrived on time, possibly even early, and in pristine condition.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this lamp. It is so beautiful and it fits perfectly on my night stand. It is very nice quality and it came packaged nicely as well. I'm tempted to buy another just in case it accidently gets broken....that's how much I love it. I highly recommend buying from this company.
