RitFit is perfect for 95% of people who workout at home.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this product because it seemed to be the best power rack option for something I could order on Amazon and get quickly as I had only 3 months to kick my body into hyper gear for an upcoming trip. I looked at the more expensive and allegedly better systems online but when I tried to build the system I wanted, they were often out of stock and it was going to take 8 weeks to get here. So, I chose the RitFit power cage with plate loaded cable system. Even though I read some critics online say it was not sturdy enough or other problems; I decided to order it because I needed something quickly. And I have to state that I could not be happier. I have been a weightlifter for health most of my adult life; and I can say that unless you are a pro body builder or if you want to squat and bench over 250 pounds then this Rit Fit system is all you need. I did choose the 2.0 with cable pullies that have the aluminum fittings and they work great. The only thing that was a bit tricky to assemble waere the cables, but I figured it out. I went slow and took 5 hours plus there are some YouTube videos that walk you through it too.My stuff came in 3 boxes. 2 boxes came a first but I had read online that sometimes the boxes come spaced apart and so I waited and sure enough the last box came 3 days later. Now granted I am in my 60's but I do bench, military, squats, curls, incline bench items, triceps extensions from every angle imaginable and this RitFit cable system works great. There is no stick in the cables when you pull them, they work very smoothly and all the attachments work great as well. The handles have knurling that is fine. The pull up bar does not have knurling but it has every angle one can normally use.The bottom line for me is that even though I watched reviews from experts online that would say that RitFit was "acceptable" but cheap, they would say if you could afford the better systems (which are literally 4 times the cost) then they said you should go with the more expensive one. However, unless you are pro lifter I would say that this Rit Fit system is overly adequate for 95% of the people who workout at home. The Smith Machine is smooth and even; the cables work as good as the ones I use at the commercial gym. It has plenty of storage on it to hold all your weights. RitFit has improves the system so you can have big plates on the pully and big plates on the Smith machine and they clear each other. It used to be that you could not have large plates on the Smith and on the pullies because they would run into each other in the middle. But I can tell that RitFit is listening to critics and making improvements. I truly believe if you think you are not in the top 5% of the weight-lifting workout world and are average to moderately skilled at lifting this product would be perfect for you.

Best Investment in my fitness I've ever made!
Husband's review:I absolutely LOVE this machine! I own the PPC02 and its awesome. That said I sure wished I got the one with cables.FFW a year later and I saw this beast on sale around XMas and I pulled the trigger. I researched the Mikolo M4 as well as basically any and all other related cages and this one had way better youtube reviews as well as it's a company that I know and trust.Their customer service is excellent. Any and all issues I've ever had (very few) were handled promptly and in a friendly manner to my absolute satisfaction. Some people complained but my experience has been great. They're busy so you don't get an immediate reply but seriously email response day of or next day is awesome! And they care about their customers. It's very clear. If you're on the fence between this and the competitors I strongly suggest watching some comparison videos. It punches above its' weight on the price front. It's more stable. It's a better machine than the others at this price point and some above it.This thing is easy to build, it took me less time than it did to build my other cage that has far less features. It's well built. It's sturdy. One issue i had with my previous cage was it wobbled when doing certain exercises. Nothing unsafe but it was annoying. It LOOKS amazing! I sometimes just go in the garage and stare at it. Not kidding.the cables are pretty smooth (I didn't get the 2.0 so i don't have aluminum cables but I'm ordering them when they're in stock). Spend the extra hundred and get the aluminum. The vinyl are solid, no complaints. But it's worth it to get the aluminum from what others say.The smith is awesome! Didn't realize I'd like it so much as I feel like smiths are more for beginners but i was wrong. Great for learning new movements, working on form, etc.J hooks and spotter arms are well made. Smith bar works well. Pulleys are pretty smooth (will update when I get aluminum). Pull up bar is dope. The Landmine attachment is great. And the cable sliders work very well. May need to play around with the tightness of the knob but you'll get it fast. Don't go too tight or you'll scratch it up. And the storage hooks with the RitFit face plate bring it full circle. And it is sturdy. I need to stress that. I don't even have it bolted in and I've put a lot of weight on the spotter arms. It stays in place. I also have lever arms that used to rock my old cage even weighted down. On this not a chance. It may rock a tiny bit but it stays firmly footed.Overall its one of the best investments I've ever made. I'm excited to work out. I can do everything with it. It's beaitufil and the customer service is excellent. Also watch our for their Challenges! I just got a $600 gift card for their 21 Day Challenge! How many companies do that for their customers! Their FB page is a beautiful community as well.God Bless ya RitFit! Happy Customer!
