Worked great for my daughter's tent. She was missing a pole and needed a quick fix.

The 14.5 ploes fit my Ozark 4-person dome tent. This will extend the life of my tent hopefully another three years.

The poles are standard fiberglass poles, but they are too short for my tent. I wanted them to revitalize an older tent that I've had around for several years.

These poles are just as advertised & will work great for my upcoming backpacking trip. I have a hammock tent & these are backup for if there are no trees spaced apart for me to hang my hammock from, then I can just now setup my hammock on the ground like a tent using clips to connect the top of my hammock to the poles. After reading some reviews was not sure about buying these particular ones but happy I did. Ppl need to understand that during manufacturing defects happen & get pass inspection, it happens no matter how much you spend on any given item. That's why you don't wait tell last minute to buy an item you need in proper working condition, so if it is defected you have time to get it exchanged. I do understand that there are dishonest sellers on Amazon but they are everywhere not just here & we just have to let those who need to know of the issue & in time it will get handled.

There were 2 problems. The end tips on the poles are not the same on each end. One end fit in the grommet and the other end did not. When I was removing one of the poles, the elastic broke in several places thus rendering that pole useless. For my old dome tent, I needed poles that were 8 feet long. This was the only one that short. I decided to buy a new tent rather than get a new set of poles that may not work.

These hold up well and were for a tent found online without poles. To get my exact length I needed to remove 1 piece and cut one in half. It was easy loosening the glue on one end with a heat gun, a hair dryer could have worked. Then just unknot to remove what I wanted out. I used a hacksaw to cut one in half. It was relatively easy. Strung the half back on, knotted, then cut the elastic. Didn't need to glue anything together. It holds itself together well.

Perfect replacement for our Napier tent. The original poles were broken in a storm, but they were also a little too long and too stressed from the start. This pole is 4” shorter and work perfectly.
