I like it.
I was very disappointed when I opened the box to find an ugly white bottle. I ordered a black bottle. Luckily, I have stickers, so I fixed the ugly white bottle. It did, however, arrive in perfect condition. The straw attachment is annoying, but the Sippy lid works. The Blueberry Pomegranate mix is very good. I'm looking forward to trying the Peach Iced Tea.

Missed the Mark Across The Board
I ordered the black bottle with blueberry/pomegranate hydra pods, I received a white bottle with the orange energy pods. So, things were not off to a great start. But, I waited over a month for the initial order to arrive, don't mind orange flavored things or energy boosts, so I figured I'd give it a try rather than send it back and wait for the right product. Second issue: there are ZERO instructions on how to use the bottle / pods (and yes there is a specific way to use them, I had to go to their IG to watch a multi step video). There are plenty of QR codes taking you to the site to order more pods all over the packaging though, just no instructions. Third issue: the taste. It's appalling. With orange energy, all you taste is stevia, and what I assume is the green coffee extract. I couldn't take 3 sips. Just not a pleasant blend at all. Fourth issue: the bottle itself. It's well made, but it's over engineered. Most people don't need another bottle in their life. A simple sachet that we could pour and shake into any old bottle would be preferred. The thing comes with 5 pieces, it's overkill. Positives: the pods are recyclable and come with a mail-in bag (think Nespresso). Suggestions for improvement: either use cane sugar like the sports blend, or leave out sweeteners/stevia altogether and let the people decide what to add. Ditch the bottle, just sell sachets of the powder. If you don't ditch the bottle, add instructions.

Great flavor, but the bottle you have to use leaks.
I picked up the Vitapod Hydra+ Blue Pomegranate kit because I definitely don't drink enough water throughout the day. I thought that having a flavored water that is a healthier option would encourage me to drink more water. I like that Vitapod mixes are vitamin fortified and are sugar-free. The sweetener used is stevia based, so it is a natural product. The flavor of the Blue Pomegranate is very good, and I look forward to trying other flavors. I do find the use of the pods kind of interesting. They seem to create more waste than would truly be necessary. It seems that the flavor mix could be packaged in a less wasteful manner. Vitapod does address this issue, however. They include a postage paid return bag to send your empty pods back for recycling. It is the packaging of the flavor mix in these pods that requires the use of a water bottle with a proprietary delivery system lid. The lid consists of two parts that open the pod when they are screwed together. It is this proprietary lid that I have a complaint about. The two parts of the lid do not seal together properly and cause leaking. When you shake the bottle to mix the flavoring into the water, you end up sending some liquid flying across the room. No matter how tightly I screwed these two parts together, it still leaked. When drinking from the bottle, the leak is not as pronounced as it just seeps. But, still, the bottle shouldn't leak at all. Because of this, it just reaffirms my belief that the flavor mixes should be packaged differently. Aside from the leaking bottle, I do plan to try some of the other flavors because I do enjoy the Blue Pomegranate. While I do recommend Vitapod flavor mixes, I think you need to be aware of the issue with the proprietary bottle that you have to use with this product.

Refreshing and nutritious twist on hydration, Great bottle. cool pods
Title: A Refreshing, Nutritious Twist on Hydration I recently tried the Hydra+ Hydration Packets from Vitapod, and I must say, they've added a delightful and nutritious twist to my daily hydration routine. As someone who often struggles to drink enough water and keep up with micronutrient intake, this product seemed like a perfect solution. The most impressive aspect of the Hydra+ hydration packs is their nutritional content. Each packet is loaded with a unique blend of electrolytes, vitamins (A, C, D, E), folic acid, and minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium. I've noticed a considerable improvement in my overall hydration levels, and the inclusion of flavonoids from decaffeinated green tea extract is a bonus, adding to the health benefits. The taste of these water enhancer pods is surprisingly pleasant, transforming regular tap water into a flavorful drink that I actually look forward to consuming. This has significantly increased my water intake without the need for sugary drinks. The fact that this starter bundle includes 30 pod packs is fantastic, as it ensures I have enough supply for a whole month. Another feature I really appreciate is the stainless steel water bottle that comes with the starter bundle. Its sleek black finish is stylish, and the bottle does an excellent job of keeping the water fresh and cool. The ease of adding the Vitapod and shaking it up for a quick, nutritious drink is a game-changer for busy days. The commitment to health-conscious ingredients is also noteworthy. The hydration drink being zero sugar, low in sodium, free from artificial flavors or sweeteners, and non-GMO aligns well with my dietary preferences. Plus, it's gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free, making it suitable for a wide range of dietary needs. I'm giving this product a four-star rating because, while the hydration packs are effective and tasty, I found the flavor a bit intense for my liking. A lighter taste would enhance the experience for me. Additionally, while the nutritional benefits are fantastic, the price point might be a consideration for regular use. In conclusion, for anyone looking to enhance their hydration routine with a nutritious, convenient, and tasty solution, the Vitapod Hydra+ Hydration Packets are a great choice. They offer a practical and enjoyable way to meet daily hydration and micronutrient needs, all while supporting overall health and wellness.

Really great water bottle, undecided on vitamins
I really love this water bottle—it is the best water bottle that I’ve had in a long time and that’s likely because it was designed to mix things into water. I am a sucker for mix ins, so I was really excited to try this out. I’ll talk about the vitamins first: they taste great. I am not really a consistent vitamin taker, so this was an easy way to both stay hydrated and take vitamins regularly. Also according to the manufacturer, the pods are “specially formulated with an organic compound that accelerates biodegradation”, so hopefully that means that they are better for the environment than single use plastics. The big downside to me is the cost—depending on the flavor, a one month supply ranges from $45 to $55+ a month, or $1.50 to $1.80 per pod per day. If this is replacing a boutique vitamin subscription or a vitamin water habit, that’s a really great deal. Ultimately, you decide if this seems like a good value for money. Now, the water bottle: it comes with two caps which have a sippy drinking straw situation or a regular capped spout. The interesting part is the cage that is used to hold the vitapod in place—it can also be used to hold fruits or herbs from infusing from getting sipped up, and is perfect for holding in a blender bottle whisk ball in place if you want to use the bottle for other mix ins. It’s also vacuum sealed, and it really does keep cold things cold. I misplaced my bottle at an airport and I will 100% be ordering another one because it is such a perfect fit for the other powdered flavorings and protein powders that I like to add to drinks. I’m not sure if I’m completely on board with the vitapods themselves as an everyday commitment, but I’m intrigued enough that I may try a few more flavors and keep them on hand as part of my drink rotation.
