**Q: Can I wash it in the dishwasher?**
A: The instructions say hand wash, and you should always hand-wash sharp knives.  The dishwasher dulls the blade.  Now, OXO knives are inexpensive enough that if you're OK replacing them annually/2 years, then go for it.

**Q: is it double sided?**
A: Some of the comments regarding this knife is misleading...this knife has serrations ONLY O N ONE SIDE...if one closely observe the serrations it is definitely one sided.

**Q: Where is this knife manufactured ?**
A: Don't know where it was manufactured, but no where near as nice as the original one. So if you are looking to replace one you had, like we were, look elsewhere.

**Q: Will this knife cut vegetables such as cabbage, bell peppers, carrots?**
A: bell peppers yes , cabbage no you will need a 6 to 8 inch knife

I actually ordered this knife to open big packages & boxes. First time I used it, was amazed at how razor sharp it is! I’m now using it in the kitchen! Not that I cook 👩🏼‍🍳 that much….but when I do, I’m ready ! Y’all need to keep this brand in mind, obviously they come in sets - makes a great gift.
