Good Grips 5-in Serrated Utility Knife,Silver/Black

I just love this knife! It's so handy and versatile, and I really appreciate the extra long and secure grip handle, it makes me feel safe when I use it. It's sharp and cuts quickly and so far hasn't had any issues with rusting or water spots on the blade after use and washing.

Cuts soft veggies like tomatoes with very little pressure and also saws firmer veggies like acorn squash. Comfortable to hold even with arthritic hands.

I actually ordered this knife to open big packages & boxes. First time I used it, was amazed at how razor sharp it is! I’m now using it in the kitchen! Not that I cook 👩🏼‍🍳 that much….but when I do, I’m ready ! Y’all need to keep this brand in mind, obviously they come in sets - makes a great gift.

I bought one in 2018 and it was awesome! I use it more than any other knife. I was so pleased with it that I bought this one in 2022. I haven’t even opened this one yet (it’s now 2026) because the first one is still sharp and works just like it did when it was new. I couldn’t be more pleased!

This is a great knife to have for all jobs in the kitchen. Cut a rotisserie chicken in half...to slice a sandwich. All around go to knife for everything.

I find myself grabbing this knife all the time -- to slice a bagel or English muffin, or slice a vegetable. It's also a not-bad pie or pizza cutter. If your knife skills aren't perfect, this knife feels a lot safer than a larger chef's knife. It's easy to control and very sharp. And it cleans easily. I would keep it out of the dishwasher and hand wash it in warm soapy water after each use, to maintain longevity.

OXO Good Grips 5-inch utility knife is all purpose kitchen knife. The blade is perfect for all general purpose cutting in kitchen. I personally love it, though I do little to almost no cooking. My wife / my Mom both love it. The balde is broad on the non cutting side gives it a good firm cutting experience. This is expensive, but then trust me this is the knife you should have. I too enjoy cooking and for all general purpose cutting, I use this knife. It is best experience you can have and you cannot complaint. Only hitch is the grip. I have the complete OXO knife set, purchased for amazon.com (from US). The multipurpose serrated knife grip is bit lean on the set. But this one is a bit fat. Over time I have got used to this grip as well. But blade on both knives is same. So at my parents place and here we always use OXO. Trust me go for it. Price might seem a lot. But then you will have no complaints and will not think of ever changing your knife for life. Strongly recommend the product. Seller does not give discount. So if you ever get this for any bargain just buy it.
