Find the right location and they work well
I was unsure about these at first and 100% you need to try out different locations to find the best place in your own home for them to work for you. Once you find that spot you'll be amazed by the number of little flying critters these will catch. I have a fish tank and lots of house plants in one room and midges are really attracted to the moisture both create. These are super easy to setup and are really sticky so keep away from kids and pets. I highly recommend them.

Ber ineffective. Whilst does catch some flys there were more that were attracted to the light than actually catching anything

Bad design maybe
Literally just received item. Unless I'm missing something, there seems to be a design fault . The casing of yhe item hits the on/off button on our plug sockets , so you can't push it in flush 😬

Useless
These are useless! One fly caught in a week. Waste of money

They do actually work
Purchased for combating fungus gnat fly. It attracts and traps these flies (and the odd moth) extremely well and did so within hours. Yes, it does slightly cover the switch but it didn't seem to cause an issue for me. For the money, it's great value. I've bought 2 more units for other rooms and they come with spare refills. The refill paper slip easily into place and it was easy to remove the protective cover to expose the sticky surface that traps the flies. There is no smell and because they are small, they are not noticeable. It is a little like a night light, so bear that in mind if you have it in a bedroom. Update: the second two pictures are the sticky inserts when I changed them. These work so well!
