Best camera for the price
Best customer service. The camera takes clear videos day or night and battery life is about 6 months set on 10 sec videos. In very cold temperatures in Virginia battery life is about 4 months. The sound is amazing I can hear a deer chewing and walking in leaves about 10 feet away. Very user friendly. The A50 is my 2nd Gardepro. This 1st camera is now 3 plus years old still taking clear pics and videos. I highly recommend these cameras. I use mine for surveillance on the back of my property out in the country continuously. Very reliable for years now. Excellent camera but not a high price.

Works great, better than expected.
Very impressed with this trail cam. Videos during the day are good, but it's the videos at night that really impressed me. At night the videos are black and white ( because of the infrared I guess), but they are very clear, easy to see what's going on out there.

Good camera, but beware of condensation
Overall, this camera works well and has produced delightful videos. However, after a week of heavy rains, the camera did develop a lot of condensation inside and it must have shorted out the electronics. It would not turn ON, even with new batteries. I was all set to return the camera but decided to give it a few days to dry out thoroughly. It did dry out and has been working quite week since, so I did not return it. The rain we had was unusually heavy. Perhaps the camera needs to dry out every so often. In any case, I am happy with the product.

Much slower trigger time than advertised 0.1 second.
Resolution of photo and video are great. However, 0.1 second trigger speed is incorrect. It captures somewhere around 3 to 5 seconds delay.

Day photos great, everything else, not so much
Daytime photos are exceptional. That said, night photos and video are awful, much worse than competitors. After I learned this, I set it to take photos only, and just during daylight hours. Even then, a serious limitation is that it will only take up to 5 photos per trigger. Most other cameras will take up to ten. The build on this camera is impressive though. I use my cameras for bear photography from April through October, and bears are very inquisitive. They love to bite and pull at cameras. The design of this one is good. It’s tough and the latch for the door is difficult for bears to open. It’s also more difficult for them to bite holes in the sensors (though some still can and will). So, overall, it’s decent for nice quality daylight photos in bear country. It’s not the best overall bargain though. That honor would go to Ceyomur.

Great Cameras and Killer Prices
I've used a lot of different kinds of trail cameras, Moultrie, Exodus, a few Spartans, BlackGate and most recently Tactacam... Tactacams are my cellular go to - but after using GardePro Non Cellular I'm tempted to switch over. I don't have any cameras that are as clear as these are I don't know how the cellular ones go but the fact that Moultrie and tacticam don't have this clear of pictures even with the SD card blows my mind. I left both of them out on public land for almost a year batteries were still good in both cameras and each one had captured about 400 pictures So far the best pictures I've ever gotten out of the woods lol. I research everything and try to only go with the best, to me there is no comparison especially when you add in price- like I said, I can't speak on the cellular version I wanted standalone because there's no service down there - If that's what you need don't hesitate to buy these. (That's a picture of my computer screen)

Improvements over A3 model
I've been running their A3 models for years and this is an improvement. Their menu options have always been good (certainly compared to Browning) but now they've made an effort to improve optic quality. The videos in particular look better on the A50 compared to the A3. Being able to specify both a photo and a video has been around but now you can have different video length between day and night (e.g, 30 seconds in light, 10 seconds in dark). The photos can be much larger (with big file sizes) with new optics. Sound quality very good. Nothing really different about detection motion. Battery life seems slightly less than A3 but you can change duration & wait times to adjust. Still using 8 batteries so night videos are possible. Still using full size SD cards. The strap could be thicker but the clamp is still metal. Still has the threaded hole on the bottom buy doesn't include the bolt for it. And the casting on the bottom makes it iffy to have camera sit on a table.
