Great product. It comes tightly wrapped in a cardboard box and you can tell straight away that it is going to be a high quality product. It is a good thickness and obviously strong. It's not difficult to unroll at all - just pop it in the bath with some hot water for a few minutes or in the shower and it soon unrolls. Then we just left it to dry with some bubble bath bottles on each corner to make sure it stayed flat and it did. No smell, no roll up, great product.

We bought this product to protect a new carpet in our study but also to facilitate movement of the office chair across the room. It is of good quality and takes a while to flatten out after bring rolled up for despatch. It does the job well and I would recommend it.

Brilliant product to protect the carpet from office chair wheels! Very robust and has made such a difference to the carpet - no more damage from the chair. We have just purchased another one for the second home office. Took a few attempts to flatten it after arriving rolled up but it is now flat - soaked it in the bath, used a hair dryer to shape and dry. Worth the time spent in flattening it.

Very sturdy and durable. No cracking. Used for long periods daily. The nobbles on the back ensure it stays put where you place it. However, despite using various methods of coaxing it to lay flat - including hanging on my heated towel rail over night, running hot water over it and heating with a hair dryer, these have all failed to get the mat laying flat. I've had it in place approx 6 weeks now (in a warm room) and it is still curling at two edges. I've thrown a rug over one edge so I don't trip over chair mat as I walk across the room. Thoroughly recommend for its durability but very annoying that it won't lay completely flat.

Used now for 6 months - excellent - flat, chairs roll over it well, takes no damage, does not slide around and is virtually invisible on a pale carpet. Comes rolled so submerge it in a hot bath for 5-10 mins and then open it up. Lay it flat and it will remain flat once it cools down. Highly recommended.

Does what it’s supposed to do. Quite hard plastic so took a while to flatten out when unrolled. Also left a horrible plasticky smell in the room for some days but settled now. Certainly protects the carpet from wheel marking and makes it easier to move the desk chair. Good size.

I bought the first one to protect the carpet when I started working from home. After two years daily use, it started to crack and catch the wheels of the chair, but underneath the carpet was pristine, so I bought another. It needs to be unrolled from the packaging and weighted down for a few hours before use, otherwise it will curl up, but this is easier in a warm room like a bathroom. It would be nice if it lasted a year or two longer, but still reasonably good value for the use it has had, and it has protected the carpet underneath.

I'm really disappointed by this purchase. Firstly, it's constantly moving around in spite of me being on it in a chair with castors. I have to readjust it daily - it doesn't grip my low-medium-pile carpet very well at all. It also dents really easily, meaning the chair is always trying to follow the dents. Finally, even after living with it for a couple of weeks - and leaving it out in hot weather as the instructions suggest - it still curls over at each end... Really wouldn't have bought this mat if I'd known all that :(

I bought this ”protective” mat in order to protect my parquet floor. However, it did the complete opposite. This is how my floor looks now after using it for one week in my office space.

Stable, ne bouge pas une fois installé sur de la moquette, et le siège roule sans problème. Bon produit.

Aucun soucis pour le faire prendre la forme d'utilisation : je l'ai laissé sur une surface plate, au soleil, et en quelques dizaines de minutes j'ai pu le dérouler à plat, puis mis des poids sur toute la longueur des bords, tout autour, puis encore au soleil 2-3 heures. Mis en place sur un tapis en laine, assez épais, sous un fauteuil à roulettes pour enfant de 40kg, ça ne bouge pas du tout. Rien à dire pour le moment (6 mois d'utilisation), à voir dans le temps.
