Moomins: Moomintroll's Book of Thoughts

Very cute, great gift for any Moomin fan.

I bought this as a gift for my 27 year old sister and it went down very well! The quality of the illustrations and the adorable nature of the content makes this a good read for just about anyone and if the person is a lifelong Moomin fan, all the better! I haven't gone for five stars as some of the quotes are a little out of context and I have to admit I may have enjoyed reading a full story slightly more than this, but for a taster of the joy of Moomins, one couldn't ask for anything more.

Very touching little book. It is special because, as an avid Moomin books reader, it seemed like a new story, despite the fact that there is nothing new in it. But when the Moomin quotes are taken out of the original books and laid separately you really think more about them (as in the books you are taken with the story). Tove's original drawings are also a delight - when I go t the book I was not sure wether it has original drawings or the new modern ones. Thanks God it has the old ones, they are pieces of art.

As a moomin fan I couldn't wait to get this & bring back childhood memories. It didn't disappoint. A wave of childhood memories flooded back when I read the little moomin comments inside.
