The clear cover over the map area is the incorrect type of plastic and gets creases in it when folded that stay there, it's comes creased from the factory. I figured putting it in the sun would help but it doesn't.

This map case is a practical accessory for outdoor activities. Made from durable materials, it features a clear viewing section that makes it easy to read maps. Waterproof and secure, it's perfect for hiking or tactical use. While it could be slightly larger for easier handling, it remains a solid piece of gear for most users.

Very rugged and no manufacturing issues. All the features here work well. The pockets will secure the usual pens and markers. The larger pocket can hold notepads or even a decent amount of index cards. Having the map be break away is useful for not having to lug the notebook around at all times, or even simply using them separately.There are two inner deep pockets, one going the whole length and another just half. This is plenty of space for more stuff like a wipe cloth,, or other maps ( obviously not waterproof).There is enough pockets and organization to keep it worth your while as you will find extra uses for more tools and backup supplies.

I love this thing. While I plan on using it to carry my never-fail, low tech maps on adventure rides, just about every outdoor enthusiast could use this. Don't wait to learn lessons like: wet maps are almost useless, your GPS will die when you need it the most, etc. This map and small admin carrier is equally useful in the woods and on the battlefield. Highly recommended for all outdoorsy folks.

This is a pretty nice map case that folds out so that it can store a much larger map. It has plenty of pockets to hold notepads, pens, markers, grease pencils, etc. The stitching is decent, and the hook and loop is okay quality. Will order again.

This map pocket is a great item to have for any outdoors-person. It gives you a means to protect a map from dirt and weather and also allows you to mark up the map without doing it permanently.I really like that unlike a basic map pocket, this almost map wallet gives you additional storage where you can store pens (including a wet erase marker) and even my compass! Everything folds up to the dimensions of a CD wallet. This is where I would have liked this map wallet to have a couple of MOLLE attachments so I could easily attach this to my pack or other gear. Still, I can rig something up so it’s not like I can’t attach this to my gear, just saying it would have made it much easier and versatile if it was already a part of the design.
