HurryCane HCANE-PP-C2 Freedom Edition Foldable Walking Cane with T Handle

I broke me knee & rehabilitation physical therapists recommended i might want to try a hurry cane once I became more mobile after using a walker. I'm 73. I started using it in rehab. At first it took me a little bit to get used to what feels like a little bit of instability in the contact with the cane & the ground or floor surface, because it tips a little when you shift the angle of the cane itself, but as my mobility got better I liked it more & more because I felt it moved with my speed better than a regular cane did that I'd been using before the accident. But it does take a little mind set in getting used to it. Especially if you're using it for weight & not just balance like its suposed to be for. I chose metallic pink. It's held up nicely in 9 mos. But then I'm not one to throw it around. As for standing on its own, it will do that on a solid surface if no one touches it. On carpet it's a little more precarious and tricky to find the sweet spot in the carpet to stay standing but it does work. It just tends to fall over easily. But i still prefer it to a regular cane with solid rubber ends for walking with. I don't fold it a lot so im not worried about cords inside wearing out. They are a good 4mm or 1/8 inch thick & I think will hold up well. It's nice & lightweight though, so it doesn't bother my wrist at all. I have several canes & will always take this one out, when leaving home. I use it on the stairs too because it seems the feet tend to hug the carpet more & I ferl its less likely to slip with an angle change. It's life saving on my 18 stairs with only 1 railing. It allows me to go up them without being twisted & grabbing with both hands on 1 railing. I feel better using it than not using it. I'm 200 pounds, and feel very secure putting all my weight on it. But again, canes are meant for balance not for weight support. I highly recommend it but then again, the end is not going to be a stable feel like a regular cane. It's actually going to me more stable. It just doesn't feel like it is, so it tricks your brain making you think it's not. I've tested it out a lot because I couldn't get used to it for some time and felt it eas going to slip out from under me. I still feel like it's not as secure only its all in the mind due to its slight flexibility at the base which makes it easier to actually walk with. I believe it is more secure and I like it on the sidewalk a lot because I can feel there is more contact there.

Replaced my older HurryCane. Like the wider footprint. More stable and easier to stand free.

When you need a cane, get this one. Adjusts to 5'10" height unlike others purchased. The tripod base is not only great for balance but allows the cane to stand alone when you need both hands. The folding capability is very convenient.

Very sturdy and easy to handle

The product has excellent durability. I've used it for a while and it still works as well as the first day I got it.

When traveling on public transportation it is convenient to be fold the cane smaller. This also comes in handy when in a restaurant. The wider base on it is helpful on uneven terrain. It’s not reliable for standing on its own. My green cane looks good too.

Love the looks and function of this cane. I have frequent flare-ups of sciatic pain and when that happens my leg is painful and weak. This cane helps to stabilize my walking. It stands alone on solid surfaces, but not on carpet. Because I travel a lot and only need it part time, the best feature for me is the fact that it folds. However I have taken one star off because the strap is supposed to be able to wrap it when it's folded. However the snap is in the wrong place making it too short to wrap. I have to use rubber bands to secure it. Sure would be nice if that strap worked as advertised. Does anyone know a better way to secure the cane when it's folded?

This cane has changed my life. I don't have to worry about it falling because of the crafty design at the bottom. I use it daily inside and outside of my house. It has adjustable height with just a click. It's very sturdy but not heavy. I have several different types of canes and this one is my absolutely favorite one. The cost was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend it.

Très bonne qualité. Belle conception, agréable à tenir, solide, confortable. J'aimerais mieux ne pas m'en servir, mais j'ai pas le choix. Aussi bien le faire avec style.

للاسف كانت قيمتها مرتفعه جدا .. وبعد ان تم الطلب ووصلني .. تم تخفيض القيمه بشكل كبير .. وتوفرت اللون الوردي منها .. كان هذا خذلان لي
