Won't loose the key
Purchased these to lock firearms so no one unauthorized could use them. The firearms came with similar locks except they were key operated. (With my luck, I would lose the key.) I am much better at remembering numbers.

Works well, good quality, did not receive any instruction on changing Combination
Worked well, good quality. Did not receive any instructions, but was fairly easy to figure out on my own.I did contact the owner, but no response. as of today.

Works great
This lock works great. The only thing I don't like about it is the cable is a bit long, it hangs over my rifle and I'm afraid it's gonna scratch up the rifle. So I decided to return it and got a trigger lock instead. Besides that, it's a solid lock. I have one for my pistol but for my rifle I'm gonna go with the trigger lock instead.

Great locks
Bought these for my rifles and they fit a Remington 870, Colt AR, and Ruger10/22. Vinyl coated cable, very heavy body. Lost keys to my last lock set, these are better for me in addition to trigger locks and a locker. I have pre-teen boys.

Do Not Buy
I purchased a three pack of these locks and set them all to the same combination shortly after I received them. I checked the combinations and opened and closed them a couple times. Two were in use and the third was saved for later but all basically just sat for several months.Then I tried to open one and wasn't able to and finally had to cut it off. I checked the others and one I could still open but the other one I had saved also could not be opened. So I hadn't forgotten the combination and they were never abused or subjected to the weather. Apparently they are so poorly made they can't even hold their set combination. I certainly will never use these and I hope you will avoid them too.
