I have purchased these large batches of this and the mixed seafood 4 times. This latest batch has some correct sized shrimp in the bags but half of each bag has XSmall shrimp and mooshy (old) shrimp mixed in. My other 2 orders weren't like this at all. I entertain guests all the time and presentation of my elaborate Seafood Cocktails is everything!! With this latest batch I've had to open several bags to get enough uniform shrimp for my elaborate Seafood Cocktails, which is wasteful. Unless this company replaces half of my order to make it good. I guess I'll be looking for another company to buy from as this last batch actually cost me more per pound due to waste, than if I had bought them from the grocery store. Very Unhappy!!

Got what u paid for small raw shrimp!I've been buying my shrimp with ebt off Amazon without prime without hitches doll so go for it!

Not sure what the other reviewer is talking about. My shrimp came perfectly frozen packed in dry ice. Threw them right in the freezer. Took out about 20 today, put them in a bowl of cold water to defrost. Took about 20 min. Changed the water out once. The shrimp were easy to peel and they were already deveined along the back side. I did devein the inside part. They were firm shrimp. Marinated and pan sauteed. They were great. I am leaving a review because I am back at the page to order another bag. They are less expensive than the grocery store, great quality, and they come in dry ice which is always fun to show the kids. Great buy!

Easy to peel, deveined, and great for scampi, salads, side dishes, etc. Had a great flavor.

I'm a shrimpaholic, I have eaten more than a pound in one sitting, several times! The all you can eat shrimp places turn their lights off when they see me driving down the street. Having said that, I'm not too picky either. I'll even eat at Red Lobster and feel OK about it. But this shrimp suffers from two or three major problems. Number one is the skin is too soft. Very difficult to peel. It looks like the shrimp weren't fed enough calcium or something. Number two is that it looks like they weren't fed enough sodium either as they are tasteless. I cooked them in different ways and there was no flavor of shrimp anywhere. Lastly, they seemed to be more of the 38-40 count than the 30-40 count, unless of course I was unlucky to pick up the one bag with over 75 shrimps. Since they already had two strikes against them, I think my "unluckiness" was actually wasting my time and money with this shrimp. I'm only giving the second star because the packaging was excellent.

I ordered two different sizes of shrimp, a couple of bags of each. The delivery was quick - much quicker than I expected or they predicted so that was nice. Packaging was very good, no question that if it had taken another day or two that it still would have arrived acceptably. The price on both was much better than I can get in my local area. I will be ordering again. Will probably stick to the larger size 21/25 over the 31/40 just because they are quicker to prepare if I need to shell them for recipes! Taste was good. Overall very satisfied.
