This little console really took me back to being a kid again. I'm so enthused. I've owned a console that imitates the original Nintendo and it's okay but this one really does mimic the actual Gameboy system. You would not believe the number of games that it has and they are literally legit and quality games that seems like the real thing. I'm so happy that I get to share this experience with my kids and that I get the opportunity to pretty much relive my childhood days.I can carry it with me and it's small enough to fit inside of my purse, car, etc. I can also hook it up to my television to play with the family. This is a must have and you're missing out if you don't have this. It can be easily compared to the real thing! 5 out of 5 for real.

For the money, there's a lot to like. You get a bunch of games (mainly old school arcade or Nintendo 8-bit games) that are fun to play. Some of the action base games are harder tomolay as the timing is a little off from the button presses to the input on screen and the D-pad is not the best either. But still, a ton o' fun for the money. Screen is small and not the best but it is a color LCD screen and tolerable. Great stocking stuffer for any kid or even adults that aren't really gamers.

The unit I received had a swollen battery included so I couldn't close the battery chamber. So I set that to the side and plugged it into the charging port to try to power it, but that only worked for a little bit before the screen glitched out. There's no way I'm letting the kids play with this. They'd be bugging me to fix it every 5 minutes. It's cheap price so maybe you get a working unit but I can't recomend this item from my experience.

The kids love this!!! It has a variety of games that are fun and entertaining. The size is perfect for traveling and it's not too loud. This is definitely a good value for the price so I definitely recommend it.

At the current price I was honestly shocked by the amount of value packed into this little console. You get a playable console with a good amount of retro games for less than the price of 2 people eating at McDonald’s.- the buttons are serviceable if not outstanding. I never had problems registering an input.- I tried out some of the games, and they all seemed to work fine. Seems to be pretty much all NES games, and there doesn’t seem to be a bootloader or place to put roms. At the current price I am fine with this compromise. They are almost certainly pirated, just a heads-up if you have any conflicts about that.-the d pad is a low light, it’s pretty mushy, and I struggled on more than one occasion to put in an input without some extra force.- The speaker is surprisingly loud. And yeah, it’s pretty tinny, but for the price I would say it’s more than acceptable.- the charger is mini USB. A usb-c charger might have been nice just for convenience but at the current price I consider this acceptable. I didn’t push the battery life, I would expect around 2-3 hours given the battery size and power draw of the system.- the main reason I subtracted 1 star is the screen. Even at the price I find it a bit hard to swallow. Something about it is just a bit eye straining, even head-on indoors. I could accept poor viewing angles or poor brightness but the eye strain is just a bit harsh, and I’m really not sure what is causing it.For either a child or adult I would consider this plenty acceptable. Apart from the screen there are no major compromises apart from the screen. I would have killed for something like this when I was school aged; and it’s not something I would fret over losing, vs something more expensive like a DS. Overall very happy.

This is such a fun product at an amazing price point! Out of the box I charged it with the included charging cord, then it was time to play! There is literally 400 retro games to play - and they play just like how I used to play them on my gameboy when I was a kid. Amazing!! The screen is color, which is so cool. There is a cable included to connect to a tv, but I haven't been able to try that out as my tv does not have those connections. The volume is loud, and can be adjusted. Overall, this is a great product - I am going to get some for my nieces and nephews as Christmas gifts. I would absolutely recommend!
