I like the fact that once the rug was in place, it stayed there so that I wouldn’t catch my foot on it. I’m using the throw rug to keep the wear marks on the carpet to a minimum.

Alright, so I did not get this rug expecting it to last forever. I wanted something for an entry way that could be washed and deal with pets who go a bit insane when there is a storm. You know what I mean. The rug has held up well and is not bad looking either. I would recommend it if you are in need of a simple washable rug.

Before I put this down in my kitchen I wanted to test the “washability”. It came out so good and even softer that I am not hesitating to us on a kitchen floor that get a lot of traffic and messes. 3 dogs in and out and 2. East cooks are putting it to the test. It is a beautiful design in a nice blue combo. Washing first may have helped it lay flat quicker but I don’t know. Overall very happy with this rug.

Full disclosure, I received this free of charge. After replacing a wool rug that was shedding to an intolerable degree, I wanted similar for the floor between my TV and couch and recliner. I took delivery of this rug, which arrived quickly, but am not very impressed with it. The feel of it is almost like canvas. It does have a rubber backing so you do not need to purchase a separate “no slip” mat for underneath, which is a bonus. But I have rugs from competing brands which are much softer and nicer feeling. I do not intend to keep this inside my house, and will instead move it out to my lanai. If you know what you’re getting here, there is a definite use for this type of rug. I did not notice any heavy smell from this rug but I am not overly sensitive to that. I would not buy another one of these rugs out of pocket except for outdoor use on a porch/lanai.

Adds just the look I wanted! Just be aware this is a thin area rug. If you want something plush and thick, look elsewhere.
