These are beautiful! When I picked them up, I immediately could feel the heft. This are solid and heavy. They feel like a serious quality shear.The edges are super sharp - and it looks like it should be easy to take the nut off to sharpen it (though it seems like it will be a long time before that needs to be done). But cutting with these shears is like cutting through butter - smooth and clean.These are comfortable to hold. I have small hands, but the rubberized handles make it easy to maintain a stable hold on the scissors.

This is a solid metal set of scissors that can be resharpened. They are made to fit a larger hand. They worked great on cloth and paper. They came with some oil on them from the manufacturer so make sure you clean them well before use.

These fabric scissors are super high quality and cut like a dream! I normally use Friskas and never had a problem with them, but I when I saw these I figured what the heck. At first I was a little put off by the oil on the blades, but that cleaned up easily, and I used them to cut some scrap fabric to ensure it was all off. These scissors cut true and have a nice handle with a rubber coating, to save your hands and help with the grip. They are truly professional scissors and based on the quality of them they are the last ones you will ever need to buy. I totally recommend and love these scissors!

Looking past the misspellings and semi-confusing text on the box, these shears are quite nice and will cut through any thick fabric, even leather. I tested it out on some medium-weight leather scraps and it cut right through them. These open quite wide -- if you have large hands. The all-metal shears are quite heavy and I can see fatigue setting in if you had to use these for long periods of time. For certain jobs involving thick fabrics and leather, however, they'll work great.
