I have been trying out a few different ultralight setups for trout lately, and so far this has to be one of my favorites! I have the 6ft and use it for throwing mini jigs on two pound test line. It is a very fast rod and throws them amazingly far. Was throwing a 1/64oz jig when I caught this bad boy at a local pond. Rod has a ton of tip action and handled the fish well. For the price, I would definitely recommend!

This is a true graphite rod suitable for a small spinning reel or possibly a bait caster with medium to light line fish up to about 8 or 10 lbs. It's got some decent action on it and seems to have a pretty consistent bend through the shank. The carbon rod is complimented by well wrapped / glued eyelets that provide for a nice, sleek look to them and the handle has a small foam area for grip with a slight extension down to a ball at the end that mades for sort of a fighting butt. I plan to use this on my fishing kayak to have quick access to a different lure to throw when the occasion strikes and I think it will compliment my other gear well.

The media could not be loaded. I paired this lightweight rod with the 24 Shimano vanford. This rod is surprisingly strong. I was skeptical at first from how light weight it felt. The aesthetic looks great.

The rod came delivered wrapped in a cloth inside a plastic tube. When I removed the rod from the tube it was broken 6 inches from the tip. It had to be broken when it was placed in the tube. Don’t waste your money!!!!!

I have used this rod twice and liked it. Being 82 years of age my balance isn't the best. I stepped on a rock that rolled under my foot and I fell onto this rod. It snapped into two pieces about one foot above the reel seat That it failed was not unexpected. But manner it broke just like a wood dowel surprised me I question how it is really made.

This is a great fishing pole for the price. It has great bend and it was made with really nice fiberglass the rings down the line are very straight and smooth. It has a nice handle that contours to your hand. It can be used for small, medium and even heavy fishing, it has multiple options for your fishing reel. It’s very lightweight and extremely durable. It’s perfect for trout catfish and not too big of striper. Overall this is a very fair priced fishing pole. I highly recommend.
