About 3cm thick foam material , saves you from destroying your muscles in the shoulder and trapezius region , helps in equidistribution of the force too I.e. your form is improved as the tilt on either side is reduced ...If you got a barbell then you must buy this..and your shoulders would thank you a Quintal (No joke !)Still despite the utility: the branding etc. makes for absurd pricing ,you could also tear up your old mattress or use reusable foam for less than half of the price ...
