KJV, Thompson Chain-Reference Bible, European Bonded Leather, Black, Red Letter, Comfort Print

The indexing was not the easiest for me to pick up. That took a little practice. However, the chain refences are indespensible for thorough exploration and study of so many events and topics.The Bible itself looks and feels nice. The storage box is good to have.The one I received did have a spot where the inside paper on the cover didn't adhere very well. It was not damaged, but appears to have simply not been glued down very well. I will eventually put a tiny bit of glue in there. Not worthy of a return, but thought I should mention it. The binding itself is solid. The printing is clear and consistent. At first, many pages cling to each other. Once you have read and flipped through them it is better.

If you happen to get this Bible for anywhere around $40 to $60 it's a steal. Let's just say it's worth the original price. It's the old school thin pages. It lays nice. The Bible helps, index, colored maps are awesome.*Minimum room for notes

I have waited for so long to have a kjv thompson chain refference bible that has a good print, and layout with decent paper. I love that zondervan bought the rights from kirkbride and revamped the TCR to be readable and with less clutter. The typesetting and font size is perfect for long periods of reading. The red print is a dark brick red that is easy on the eyes. All if the chain references have been completed. The quality of this bible is good, and I think it will last for many years. I got the bonded leather and it is a decent quality bonded leather. I would recommend getting this if you have a hard time reading the old kirkbride printing of the TCR.
