A must for a KX fan - or anyone else for that matter
Crunch is amazing, I have dialed this in with my bass and Fender Rumble cab and enjoying every minute. I have used the headphones and even with the pedal off you get the core bass sound amplified. Playing with the settings, mix, and gain allow for a ton of different sounds. Throw in the DI and the fact it comes with a tuner and compressor and you pretty much have one pedal to rule them all!

Great piece of equipment
Uh, this is the sound I've been looking for. Specifically for rock bass tones. It blows everything else away. I tried the popular darkglass pedals but they were too "baked in" sounding. Great piece of equipment.

Kings x sound
This pedal is still a work in progress for me. Cool distortion , but for $299 I need more than that n a decent tuner.

One trick pony
If you dial in the Dug sound it is awesome. Clean tones, or really anything else, is just okay. Would have been better off with a Big Muff and a separate tuner. It is also an odd size on my pedalboard.

Great pedal!! dUg's tone in a box!!! And more than that! LOTS of sick bass tones in this thing! Highly recommended!!

Best option out there!
Conveniently small, tough, and ideal tone --- greatest possible combo of features!

Where has this been all my life???
I've been playing bass since I was 14 (16 years ago). My favorite players were always guys like Geddy Lee, Dug Pinnick, Justin Chancellor, etc. I've always struggled to emulate that bi-amped tone one achieves by blending a clean amp and a distorted amp and running them together. My go to tone has always been from the Tech 21 RBI. The DP-3x sounds incredible out of the box and it's extremely versatile. You can get a great clean sound all the way over to a gnarly distorted wall of sound. It's so fun to play! I lose track of time playing and experimenting (something I haven't done in a long time). I would reccomend looking st the unit as one sound. If you try to use it for a distorted tone AND a separate clean tone, you will need to experiment a lot due to the way it's eqed, compressed, and swept. The tuner is an added bonus and works well. I'm extremely satisfied!
