Tecnu Extreme Poison Ivy & Oak Scrub Individual Use Packets, 0.5 Ounce (Pack of 50)

LOL. I only used the product once. It works real well. Use it as soon after exposure as you can. Use it even if you think to much time has passed for application will work. It will work. The best thing about it is it removes the poison oils off the skin a may draw some out. Apply liberally and for awhile. Feels good rubbing the ich. Soft rubbing.

I love that I can have this in packaging easy to take backpacking. I wash arms and legs every evening as prevention and have it on hand to share. This product does the trick and removes the irritant oils...no flare-ups. It also works if you have a flare-up...wash with it as soon as you see a rash or feel the itch...immediate relief and prevention of spread. I apply it without water first, scrub, then rinse with cold water and pat dry.

I geocache several times a week. While searching for the cache container I often come in contact with plants on the ground and vines on trees. Until I began carrying Tecnu PI Scrub with me I'd get PI once or twice each year. Now whenever I think I may have come in contact with PI I immediately open a packet. Have not had a episode of PI since I began using Tecnu. Wish it came in wipes; the present product requires the use of paper towels to wipe off the excess. The pack of 50 is way too many for my needs. I've been giving some packs to friends who are please to have them.

I'm quite sensitive to poison ivy...if I can't get it contained, I end up having to get a steroid shot to get rid of it and it still takes a couple weeks. It was recommended to me a few days after coming in contact and already started blisters. Bought a tube at a local store that day...used the Extreme version and it was dried up/done being a problem within a week...Normally even if I can keep it under control, I can't get rid of it for at least 2 weeks. GREAT STUFF! I usually get it 2-3 times a year so I just ordered a bottle of the original (no grit) from Amazon to keep by the sink anytime I come in from pulling weeds, AND a 50 pack of the individual packets of Extreme (has the grit in it) in case I start know I touched poison ivy or I just don't realize and start a blister. The packets are good for 2-3, maybe 4 washes...just make sure to leave it on at least 15 seconds. Great to keep in your pocket if you go hiking, etc.

We live in the woods and, although I'm not allergic, I do get poison oak BAD. And considering our surroundings and the fact we have roaming pets, I get it fairly often. OMG, just miserable. BUT the minute I feel an itch or spot a bubble, I kick in the Tecnu washing and it numbs the itch (for about 6 hours for me) and dries up the bubbles QUICKLY. Yay! And the individual packets are SO much handier!

My only complaint is opening the package. This stuff is great! I wash with PhelsNapa soap then this if I know I've been in poison oak. I also use it to treat the rash. It really helps the itch and to dry it up.

I had to return this, because the description said the package contains individual wipes. However, instead it was a large tube of the lotion, which I didn't want. The wipes were needed for use on the go, in my purse, and traveling.

Putting this on as a scrub really feels good because it satisfies that itch you get with poison oak. It also works very well. I had pretty bad poison oak on my face and in a week it was gone.
