RSHTECH Hard Drive Docking Station, Dual Bay 2.5 3.5 inch SATA Disk Caddy

I am impressed with the build quality of this hub. It also handles 100w charging much better than my last one. It doesn't build up any heat when pushing power to a MacBook Pro. Data transfer is also lightning quick. The fact that it does all of this and works as an external drive is a major bonus. It even connects and acts as a fast drive for pro video on an iPhone.

I recently purchased a new laptop with only 2 USB connectors one of which was used to connect the power adapter, leaving the other to connect a single peripheral. With this, I can connect several peripherals. The most useful for me is the M2 SSD Docking Station. I have installed a Crucial P1 1 TB CT1000P1SSD8 Internal Solid State Drive-up to 2000 MB/s (3D NAND, NVMe, PCIe, M.2) into the docking station and it works faultlessly and does not overheat. I can also charge USB devices and the SD card slot is great for viewing my photos. For me, this 'all in one' does everything as advertised. I can recommend it and give it 5 stars.

Nice looking unit, being USB3 it is quite fast for an external hard disk enclosure. The cloning facility works well. For the price it performs well. The lights on the front panel are understated which in some respects is good, but they are difficult to see if the unit is set back below my monitor. The push button on/off switch is at back of unit and a little bit fiddly. One of the internal SATA connectors is slightly difficult to engage when sliding in a hard disk (have to wiggle the hard disk around slightly). I was unable to connect to website to register for extended warranty. Despite these criticisms I would still recommend, as gets the job done and looks nice.

Works great, i use it online all the time with two drives attached been a few months no issues.

This is a really nice station connected to pc which was found straight away is such a nice compact little box. Speed of transfer was amazing so much better than my old one. Choice of USB C or adapter USB 3 and a power connector to mains plugs. HDD connected no problem transferred a 100 GB in less than 15mins PC to HDD. Quiet operation lightweight easy to use

A neat little unit and as its made from aluminium its both rugged and a good dissipater of heat from the drives. Simple to use and transfer speeds are good. Bad point - I cant seem to get the cloning option to work. The cloned drive has all the files but I get a read error when I try to boot from the cloned one so its pretty much useless. I gave it a three as this was a key feature of the drive.

Perfect for transferring data when you need a bigger drive, can be used if you back-up to external drives

Works great on my window 11 laptop and has decent transfers speeds

Provato con varie configurazioni sia su PC Win (7 e 10) sia su MAC (OSX 10.15 e 11) e nessuno degli HDD provati (WD e Seagate) vengono montati sul computer. Ho provato anche a cambiare il cavo ma senza alcun risultato. A questo punto non ho neanche perso tempo a provare il clone offline degli hard disk, anche se avesse funzionato non era sufficiente per dare un giudizio positivo. Forse sono stato sfortunato io a ricevere un articolo difettoso ma comunque non posso certo consigliarlo. Fatto il reso, Amazon come sempre perfetta! (provate a fare un reso nei negozi di elettronica, quante scuse che si inventano…)
