Nutrition Chocolate Chip Muffin, 10g Protein, 2g Net Carb, Less than 1g Sugar, Protein Snack, 8 Count

Listen there is a smidge of sugar alcohol taste and the chocolate isn’t as good at masking the flavor as the blueberry flavor but these are banging. This is the fifth batch of muffins I’ve got and here are my pros and cons, as someone on keto Omad. Pros Hits the spot - it’s not a real muffin neither in size or that moist cakeyness since it’s on the more crumbly side. However despite all this it tastes good and the texture isn’t bad once you get used to it. Macros are great for what it is - 10 grams of protein, 2 net grams of carbs for the chocolate flavor and 200 calories. I wouldn’t make it a staple at every meal but for the occasional treat you really can’t go wrong. Con’s Freshness - so far out of the 5 batches I’ve got of these. 2 of the 3 blueberry flavor have been moister than one the fourth one I haven’t opened yet. The chocolate flavor has been somewhere in between moist and dry. But if it’s dry I’ll just have water or a protein shake on the side to hit protein goals. Outside of that honestly as long as you know you aren’t getting a full fledge muffin you really can’t go wrong.

They were nice and moist I have had one time where they taste dry rather then tasting moisture to Me and there very healthy compare to regular muffin it does not have all that carb. And sugar and fat tasting that's high in calories it does not have a lot of sodium in it

...but expensive...

Taste is great, but a little dry. I don't care as it is perfect with my morning drink.

I've bought MANY Quest products. Their protein powder, protein bars, iced cookies-- even if I didn't think the flavor was my favorite, they were all edible and surprisingly still Good overall. Their Caramel Protein Powder and Iced Birthday Cake Cookies and Chocolate Peanut Butter/Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bars? Genuinely great and are the only types of those protein powder/bar/cookies I buy. I say this to preface with how I am familiar with how these things can often not taste like The Real Thing. It's to be expected, and that's why I was happily surprised at how good so many of them are. That said, when I opened one of the individually packaged Blueberry Muffins, there was already an odd chemical smell I did not expect from Quest, but I thought maybe it was just due to this specific food variety. NOPE. I took one bite and while the texture was fine, I immediately got nothing of blueberry OR muffin-- instead, the smell intensified as it was combined with a flavor that was strikingly similar to nail polish remover. If you've ever worked with acetone, done your nails, etc, and you've inhaled and can smell/taste the foul, bitter chemical, that is what this experience was. The taste/smell was so bad I couldn't even chew the bite I took. I immediately had to spit it out and wash my mouth because the taste lingered like a film in my mouth even though I'd not chewed. I tried opening one more of the muffins in case the one I had opened was somehow bad/spoiled, but it also had the same strong, chemical smell. I had to toss the box and get a refund, which I have never had to do for any other product I've ever bought from Quest. Buyer beware- maybe these are fine and I got a bad box, but I definitely will never buy this in bulk or online again since it might be something to do with the Bake Shop product, shipping, etc. Everything else Quest I've bought online often with no issue at all, though!

Dry as drywall, crumbles apart. I don’t know if it’s stale or just is supposed to be dry. Taste is ok, a bit bland, if you can avoid choking on it. My stepson will eat them but I definitely will not spend the money on them again.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much these Quest Blueberry Muffin protein snacks actually taste like real muffins — sweet blueberry flavor without all the sugar. At about 10g of protein, 3g net carbs, and 2g sugar per piece, they make a great on-the-go snack or post-workout treat that helps keep me full longer than regular muffins. The texture is a bit denser than homemade muffins, but overall they’re soft, flavorful, and satisfying for anyone looking for a healthier sweet option. Would definitely recommend!

These are great. They are not as most as a regular muffin but the flavor is amazing.
