PROS: -Chair works as advertised. -It's easy to assemble, though the instructions could be a bit clearer; if you follow them exactly you'll have a harder time attaching certain parts. I would advise you to look through the whole of the instructions first and use your discretion about assembly order. Still I was able to put the whole thing together by myself in about 15 minutes (would've gone faster if I'd taken my aforementioned advice, but 20/20 hindsight), but it would definitely have gone a bit faster if I had someone to help hold it up/steady at certain junctions. -It actually fits in my annoyingly small tub (20 inches of useable floor width), though just barely. Though the fit is tight, it isn't wedged in, so I'm free to move it when needed. The outer arm sticks out past the lip of the tub a bit meaning it touches the shower curtain, but that's due to the size of the shower, not the chair. -Seat is a good width for my mom. Not that she's the biggest person, mind you. The cushion provides additional stability as well as comfort. The fact that the cushion is removable is a bonus; after use I like to shake it out and then sling it over the back of the chair bottom side up so that everything has a chance to dry out. -It's stable and has definitely made bathing safer/easier for both my mother (the one it was intended for) and myself (because sometimes you just need to have a sit-down in the shower lol). -Cleaning has proven to be easy. I spray it down with the Clorox disinfecting mist, let it sit for a minute, and then give it a good rinse down with the shower head. -Overall it's proving to be a good, solid product. It's been in use for a little under 2 weeks now, so I cannot say how well it'll hold up in the long run; if I run into any issues I will come back and update my review. CONS: -If the multiple listings I am now seeing across Amazon and Walmart are any indication, this product seems to be drop shipped. Annoying that these are just now popping up for me after I bought the chair. -Price is at least $20 more than other sellers. I have since found it for $34-$44 right here in the recommended products with reviews that are just as favorable so definitely shop around.

The chair was easy to assemble and it is very sturdy. I especially liked that the height can also be easily adjusted. The chair fits perfectly inside my shower and I love using it. No more worries about slipping and falling! This was money well spent. I highly recommend this item.

I purchased this shower chair for my mom because she has a hard time standing for long periods in the shower. This chair works perfectly and makes a noticeable difference in her safety and comfort. Quality and Comfort: although aluminum metal, all surfaces actually touching your skin are soft, either rubber or silicone. Plus, the chair you sit in is about 23" wide, ample room for a large person to easily move around in. Design highlights: at the base, the legs are just 18" apart, so I can use it in either a full-size shower or an ordinary standard-sized bathtub. Liked the hand-tightening screws (of which an extra of each length is provided just-in-case), especially because they intuitively guided me to 1) Screw all the pieces together a bit loosely before final tightening (safeguard against stripping); and, 2) Hand-tighten them all at the end to just the right torque. The chair took me about 35 minutes to assemble. It came out level and feels solid to sit in. Definitely worth the money, as likely to last virtually forever.

Nice sturdy chair. If I was designing the chair, I would have put the cross brace 3" lower, but everything seems to be very good quality. To those who say the push button adjusters rust, if they do, the repair is extremely easy. As mentioned by others, the thumb screws do hurt a person's fingers, but there is plenty of foam protector pieces to use to pad fingers/hands. The top height of 21" is perfect for 6' person. Simple assembly as long as a person does not tighten any of the thumb screws/bolts until every part is attached. Instructions are straight forward. Maybe I am more mechanically inclined, but the assembly was actually fun. If issues arise, I will update my review and detail any issues. Now, off to shower in my new chair.

Lots and lots of parts to assemble; however, the instructions are very clear and the parts are labeled. IF you are healthy and in reasonably good shape, assembly is simple and quick. The product is intended for the elderly and those with mobility issues for whom assembly is a problem. The product is sturdy after assembly and looks perfect for the job.

I bought this chair 3 months ago for after surgery care. It's a very good buy! Chair is sturdy, stable, very comfortable to sit on. And it's fits heavier people too. Space between seat and handles allows sit comfortably for those who is larger. Now I use it on a regular basis. Thank you!

if you have a small bathroom with a not very wide tub/shower this might be the shower chair for you. It’s made well and sturdy. It has a non-slip seat mat that is detachable and can be cleaned. The handles flare out wide so my guess is they would fit a larger person (but measure yourself first) I really like this shower chair. I had bilateral hip replacement surgery. I did need a transfer bench at first to get over the tub, I borrowed one and took down our glass doors & used a plastic curtain. but after 4 weeks of rehab I no longer needed the transfer bend as i could step over the tub with hand hold bars. Then I was able to use this chair. If you have a shower only without a tub it’s great.
