Good belts, fair price
I've worn one of these belts for 3+ weeks now and the buckle has not slipped once. One buckle did pop off the belt during unpacking, but reattaching it was easy after a little experimentation and thought. I thought it a bit unusual that the khaki belt had a black buckle but the YKK web site showed only black buckle hardware so I assume that other products do not use YKK buckles; I stuck with YKK. To get just the right tightness I push my thumb against the edge of the buckle under the through part of the belt and then snap the buckle closed. Also I use the through part of the belt to to help open the buckle quickly without fumbling around. When hanging up my trousers with the belt still on, I close the buckle at the belt tip so I don't have to fumble around inserting the tip into the buckle when I pull the trousers on in the morning. I bought these to replace an old fabric belt I bought at the Yosemite mountaineering shop 3 decades ago; I hope that these belts last that long.

Great for BIG guys!
I was super skeptical about ordering these belts because of the plastic buckles. I didn’t think the plastic buckets would hold up as well as the metal type military buckles I’ve been using for years. Sadly the quality of the military type metal buckles has dropped dramatically over the past few years so I figured I had nothing to lose by trying these belts. I’m really glad I did try them.I’m a big guy 300+ and these belts have held up well over the month that I’ve been using them. Zero issues at all. Super easy to secure and they fit my work pants, blue jeans, and Wrangler cargo shorts just fine. Once you secure the belt to it’s desired tightness it stays put. I will definitely buy these belts again.

Husband loves these
Husband said he wanted these so he didn't have to remove his belt to go through metal detector at work everyday. When they arrived, he doubted them as they felt like cheap plastic in his hands, but he gave them a shot. He's had them at least a month now and absolutely loves them. He says they hold up his pants, look good and it most certainly is not cheap plastic. He says the buckle easily stands up over time and has not even loosened like he thought they would (his fear was breaking at first because of cheap plastic feel, then when that didn't happen, he expected them to loosen over time and that still hadn't happened). Overall great belt and husband is so happy he has 2 that come in a set.

Work well - so far, worth the $ (Updated 8/23/21)
(Update 8/23/21) I still use the belt every day. Still works as well as new, looks as good as new, with the exception of the loop used to hold the "extra" when the belt's in use. That's gone. I got a long enough belt that the end goes into a loop on my pants, so no big deal. Buckle still grabs and holds very well, especially since I wear it every day. Still highly recommended.Just got these a few days ago. Been wearing them since, doing all sorts of things, including playing sports. So far, they work really well. They don't pop open and the belt doesn't slide in the buckle. Opening and closing them is very easy, as long as I remember to open it by pulling on the end of the belt, not on the buckle. Recommended.Update: I've had these for a couple of months and they're still like new. I wear the black one daily and keep the other a a spare. I'm still very happy with the belt. Easy to adjust to the right size, doesn't have holes for a buckle so it's exactly the right size. Mechanism continues to work flawlessly.

good everyday belts
Clasp seems cheap and works with minor difficulty. Webbing seems strong but too soon to check for bleeding dyes or broken or frayed belting materials

great value
I am a 69-year-old woman. Regular belts do not keep my jeans from slipping down. And I hate to always be tugging them back up in public. I took a gamble on these belts and they have provided the solution to my problem. Don't know why they should work any differently from a leather belt, but they do. And the buckle provides a quick release. ( I'll leave it to the reader to figure out why this is so important!) I do want to mention this: if you have trouble closing the buckle, you need to flip the belt over and insert the end of the belt into the smooth part of the opening, not the toothed part. It took some serious wrestling with it to learn this! I ordered this in more colors, I like it so much. BTW, this is a pretty wide belt, so it probably won't fit through the belt loops of dressier styled pants.

NIce belt and buckle
Really nice belt. I've been wearing the military style belt/buckle. Good versions of these are getting hard to find. There is no shortage of cheap knock offs. So I tried these. Nice, reasonably stiff belt that doesn't stretch(5 star "Stretch" rating meaning it doesn't). Buckle is easy to use- took about a day to get used to the different unlatch motion from the military style. Both plastic and metal buckles are well made and look very durable.
