Its a great nugget ice maker for the price BUT it's not quiet. It's super loud!

great ice maker, it produces the perfect size crunchies. It is loud, I can hear it from my bedroom but it’s well worth it and you can make it stop producing ice before you go to bed

I'm a fanatic for Sonic ice so I was willing to pay the price for this counter top ice maker. However, after having had it for a couple of months now I've been able to see what works for me and what doesn't; unfortunately, there is more that doesn't work for me than what does.Pros: "crushed" ice cubes (if that's the ice you like), makes ice very quickly, self cleaningCons: it runs out of water extremely fast, ice melts too quickly if not in an insulated container, cost for the inconvenience of how often you have to fill it with water, difficult to see where the "max fill" line for water is (we have someone with extremely poor vision in our home, so they can't see the line), the water reservoir is very shallow, ice basket is small for storage of the ice, when you have to refill the reservoir the ice basket is lifted, if full of ice it drops water from melting ice all over (small issue, but irritates me lol)Overall, not a great product for the price paid for it.

The media could not be loaded. This is our 3rd ice maker from 3 different brands. Loved how fast it made ice and was always doing great until today, after it went thru a self cleaning cycle. Emptied dirty water added fresh water turned on and 10 mins later I hear water dripping off counter. Yep this one has started leaking and of course no ice. What a waste of money to buy this product. Guess it's time to move on to a different brand again.

This ice maker makes a lot of ice fairly quickly. It's one drawback is the amount of water it holds and the amount of ice it holds is quite small. One glass will use almost all the ice, but it will refill quickly.

I bought this for my wife and she absolutely loves it. Makes ice quickly and she likes the size of the ice nuggets.

This ice maker works fine and quickly, however if you're accustomed to either the Opal or Frigidaire pellet ice makers, you'll most likely be disappointed.The footprint is MUCH smaller, which also means the ice basket and water reservoir are also much smaller. Meaning you'll constantly be adding water. If I hadn't been so spoiled by the Opal, I may have kept it but its going back.I was recently able to pickup the Frigidaire model for about $30 more than this one which made it an easy choice.
