I put this up in a sewing room. It has a great vintage look. The color of the metal is a light bronze. I cam with hardware but I used a better wall anchor. The clock isn’t heavy but better safe than sorry. I was impressed with the packaging; it was well secured in foam. You can hear a slight clicking sound but it isn’t an annoyance. This clock would work for a wide variety of décor styles. I recommend it.

I am not happy with this clock! I paid good money and it was very cheaply made and the pendulum doesn’t work! Also the battery area didn’t have a connection! This was a gift and my sister struggled to get it working!

This clock keeps time well and looks attractive. I’ve been using it for over a month now and the time is always accurate. The instructions that came with it only referenced one battery. However, it does take two AA batteries as the second battery is needed if you want the pendulum to swing.The original description for this said “Home Antique Metal Pendulum Wall Clock with Chimes - Elegant Regulator Clock”. However, it doesn’t have chimes. I noticed that now the description doesn't say with chimes which is a better description. I’m OK with it not having chimes but it would’ve been a nice touch.

The media could not be loaded. We used to have a pendulum clock in the family. It is important to realise this product is not a pendulum clock; it is a modern battery powered clock with a fake pendulum beneath it which in some circumstances will shake about a bit. In a real pendulum clock, the pendulum regulates the speed at which the clock runs and is the part of the mechanism that ensures the clock keeps good time. In this clock, the ‘pendulum’ gives the appearance of age and performs no useful function at all, even when you can get it to swing about a bit.OK so there is a good chance you already knew that, or if not, that it does not affect your buying intentions, but I hope this dispels any illusions you might be under.The clock is secured to its packaging by three screws which can be removed by hand. Attaching the ‘pendulum’ to the clock is easy, but shows just how flimsy it is. Since the ‘pendulum’ is open to the air, slight air movements might cause it to shake about a bit and entertain, but depending exactly how the air flows, it might just shake for a few seconds after a nudge, and then stay put until you touch the clock again.The clock keeps time and it does look nice. Those are the things it will mostly be bought for. However there are two battery slots, not one; try putting the battery in one slot or the other, you are sure to get the right one in two tries or less!What I would really like, but which would cost a lot more, is a battery powered clock with a gear driven pendulum that acted like the real thing, even if it did not perform a real function. That isn’t what this is, so I shall give it a rating on the basis of what it is supposed to be; an attractive timekeeper. Since the pendulum has no certainty of waggling around and may just sit still unless you nudge it, I can’t give this more than four stars.

Beautiful Clock, although the pendulum does not work, it does not move. You should adjust it and hope it works in harmony with the time Good Luck.

Antique look but new in mechanics. Easy to hang. Very durable and holds time correctly. I’ve had up for months and it still operated perfectly. Great touch of an antique feel. I love this clock

Overall the clock was nice, was easy to use, sweet little deal, functioned well. Was true to size, good bang for your buck, lightweight
