This arrived only 15 hours after ordering. We have two large cats 5 & 6 kgs. We use coarse sand type silica litter. The old scoops' holes and slots let broken up poo through when shaking the litter off. So we often ended up having excess litter stay in the scoop and go down the loo. This wastes litter and might cause sewage blockages over time in the sewage piping beyond the loo. I used the new scoop for the first time today. Such an improvement! The extra width meant just one scoop was required. The ergonomic handle keeps your hand well clear of the litter as you 'harvest'. I had bent upwards the old one's handle over the gas hob btw as a DIY remedy. I tap against the tray's side as I sieve and ALL excess litter falls through. It also seems to be 'over-engineered' in terms of plastic thickness, making it stronger than the metal ones I considered. Superb!

Much bigger than I expected! Make sure to check the measurements. Definitely great value for money! Pretty decent quality plastic, fairly sturdy.

I really struggled with the regular scoops, because they had holes in them. This scoop is a game changer! Nice size and quality, and now, finally l get to bin all the dirty litter.

I’ve been on the search for a litter scoop that has holes small enough to preserve my litter wood pellets but allows the dirty sawdust to pass through and this is the ticket !! Very happy, it does take a bit of time/patience to sift but I’m happy.

The holes are too small for loose litter to fall back through when scooping out solids.
