This is a superb, low priced narrow crown stapler! It is very easy to use and the loading and depth setting process is simple. It drives staples perfectly - I used it to drive 1" staples through upholstery fabric into MDF board and every one of them set perfectly. I also tested it on a pine 2x4 with 1.5" staples and they were set perfectly too. The battery charges rapidly and the power indicator shows the state of charge clearly. Pay attention to the instructions in the warning manual about removing the battery when you load staples or make any adjustments to the stapling depth! This device is LIVE as soon as the battery is installed and it could very easily fire a staple when you don't want it to if you're not careful!

I don't usually write reviews, I am so impressed with with this staple gun. I have since I got this gun shot 2000 staples with not one jam or misfire, I highly recommend this to anyone!! I can't say enough good things about it. Update just got thru my project, 8000 staples not one issue !,

This is fairly good considering the price. I mainly use Dewalt tools but started with Ryobi. I still use my Ryobi 18g Brad Nailer to this day, so I decided to try out this Skil 18g Brad Nailer. From what I noticed, this Skil 18g Brad Nailer is about the same weight as my Ryobi 18g Brad Nailer, and both fire about the same way with a tiny delay. This Skil 18g Brad Nailer seems to have a bit more power behind it, but I also have to press in more to sink the staples. It's also a little more awkward to use because of its design, especially when trying to stand up straight to nail. Battery life is what you would expect with a 2ah battery. If you already have Skil 20v tools, then this would be a great addition. Overall, it's not bad and does the job.

Works reliably, drives staples in fully. This stapler for crown molding allows for access to tight spots, and uses narrow staples. The battery it comes with is really cool, it has an indicator light and allows for USBC charging via the included 45W brick. This tool has a solid and balanced feel in the hand. It’s heavier than an air gun but no hose to drag around and no compressor to deal with are big upsides. It makes quick work of putting in molding, going between rooms and floors. The driver takes a moment gearing up, then slams the staple in. It’s a little slower than an air stapler, but the time is made up with not dealing with the hose. Worth the price.

I have a manual stapler that has been enough for some smaller projects. However, since we have some larger projects coming up, I wanted to upgrade and the Skil narrow head stapler will be perfect for those projects. I have tried it on some smaller projects to get used to it, and I am quite impressed with the quality and ease of usage of this narrow head stapler. I like that the battery can be charged via USB and that the cable and wall unit are included in the package. Since I have only done a few smaller projects so far, I don’t know if the battery will last for 1,000 staples but I have not run into any issues with battery power so far. Even though this stapler is quite a bit heavier than my manual one, it is well-balanced, and the stapling results are more accurate since you have to push down and trigger the staples. With the manual one, it is too easy to have last-minute movement which can lead to less than stellar results. Plus, I found that I was able to be faster with the Skil stapler. I am glad that I got this stapler since after testing it on smaller projects I know that it will make the upcoming larger projects significantly easier, and the result will look great.

This is a huge upgrade from the handheld staple guns I've been using. While I do wish it used a charger like my other power tools did (slide them on like you slide the battery on the device) it's good that they aren't some proprietary cable. I've had ones that use the barrel style, and that's annoying to keep track of, especially if you have a few tools with different sized barrels. Usb C is common. The staple gun is solid. It is hefty and I just push it down on what I'm stapling and pull the trigger. With the manual ones, I'd be forcing so much I accidentally move the staple gun and am not as accurate as I want to be. This is heavy, but the trigger pull is so easy. The safety of it having to be in contact with the thing you're stapling (the nose gets pressed when you touch it to the thing you're stapling) and you having to pull the trigger makes it so you can be a little safer from accidental discharges. I've only used it on short projects so far, but it worked great with each staple. I'm so happy to finally be going powered over manual. What a step up this was! A+ even with the usb c charging. It's in the listing and they actually include the base and cable.

SKIL has been making some awesome power tools recently, and the prices are very competitive. If they keep this up, the PWR CORE 20V line is going to be a compelling choice for both homeowners and professionals. This 18Ga narrow crown stapler runs on pure battery power. No air hose, no cartridges, and no waiting between staples. It can rapid fire to get jobs done quickly. Depth adjustment is done with a dial, making it easy to fine tune how far the staples sink in. This is a critical feature and well executed compared to other staplers. I found it easy to set the depth and then the staples were consistently fired at the same depth every time. USB-C charging on the batteries is awesome. I wish all power tool batteries could charge like this. With USB charging being ubiquitous, you will never be without a charger wherever you go. This is the way to do it, great job SKIL.

It has an ergonomic design, is lightweight, and easy to use, with impressive power for penetration. I really like it, and it works very well for me. However, it would be great if an extra battery could be included.
