They are extremely soft and very strong. There's a lot to these rolls. They're so thick I can just about get them on to my toilet roll holder. Which you can see in the photo. They are very absorbant and last twice as long as other rolls I've bought. They come in a bag which has a part to rip open on the top. I'm disabled with limited dexterity, so I like strong bags that are easy to hold. I can get my hand into the bag and lift it up without it ripping any further even though it's quite heavy. I can store them in my airing cupboard and lift the bag out easily to get a roll out.
