best awning ever
just bought my 2nd royal annexe last one still in use but getting tired. had it for 5 years plus, we use it all the time we go to rallys festivals and wild camping every weekend. we put it up 80% of the time , about 15 to 20 times a year. it has just survived a storm in the lake district but took a beating 2 split poles and a 2ft tear my fault. gorilla tape has saved it but bought a back up to put aside for future . going to use old one again this weekemd at a scooter rally weather is forecast is wet and windy again. many people on 2 wheels will be happy to see it , a warm roomy space to dry off and have a brew. if your looking for an awning this is the best you can buy better than an air awning, trust me years of experience and lots of old awnings past. happy travels. phil chorley.

Seems fine
I have to say I have no problem with this annexe. Its done a couple of trips with me and found it a very useful addition to my home built camper.The only quibble I have is not the fault of the awning its that my van, an Iveco is taller then a VW so joining up is a problem. C'est la vie!The item itself seems reasonably strong so I'll see how it copes on windy Tiree shortly.

Having seen a bad review, I have to say I put one of these up without instructions, no problem. Other reviewers blaming their lack of tent skills and common sense on the product unfairly. This is well made, solid and fully featured product.

RUBBISH PRODUCT STAY AWAY FROM THIS AND ANY OTHER ROYAL PRODUCT
Stay away from this product and any others manufactured by Royal.So many issues with both erecting and dropping it takes the fun out of camping.The owners need to be made to erect it themselves and then they will realise it is a pup.The poles are to long, the poles are completely sleeved into the fabric and have to pass guy ropes that are tied off to tight so it will not pass through when erecting, and this makes it even more difficult when attempting to drop and pack away look at others they only sleeve at ridge level the poles then clipped to fabric local walls.Actually I have just realised that I am even wasting my time doing this review.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANIES PRODUCTS THEY ARE POORLY DESIGNED POORLY MANUFACTURED AND POORLY SUPPORTED IN TERMS OF INSTRUCTIONS
