Bayer 10072 Max Force Fleet Ant Gel is a professional-grade, fast-acting ant bait gel formulated with Fipronil. Designed for broad-spectrum control of over 10 ant species, it uses a slow-acting toxin that allows foraging ants to carry bait back to the colony, eliminating queens and larvae within 3-5 days. Its thick, moisture-rich gel adheres to vertical and hard-to-reach surfaces, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor use in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Easy to apply with a syringe applicator, this gel offers a discreet, effective solution to persistent ant infestations.

Works great on carpenter ants
I used this specifically for carpenter ants. Everything I tried previously fail failed I took a photo of the ants and fed it into AI. It confirmed they were carpenter ants. I had used Terro which did nothing. I tried the little bait granules. That did nothing. AI recommended max force. Even though itโs expensive, I ordered it. I specifically laid it out on the ant tracks. The ant immediately swarmed it, and the vast majority were gone the next day. I then had another ant trail and I put the gel along that track again. They swarmed it and that track was 90% gone the next day. Itโs supposed to work over a 1 to 2 week. Period. And I have to say it does exactly that in my experience.

Best ant bait
Hands down the best ant bait for acrobat ants. It took only 3-4 days. As you can see on the pictures we got all of ants inside the house. And this bait solve it all.

Worth the Money
This stuff works as described. You can actually watch the ants plump up and bring the product back to the colony. Gradually there were no more ants showing up. Well worth the money. Bought twice... I can honestly recommend this product.

Squashed box
The product came quickly and is easy to use. The instructions could be a little clearer or there could be a video posted on Youtube to make how to use it crystal clear. The box it came in was squashed but the tubes inside were fine. However, I had to tape the box together at the bottom to be able to use it to hold the unused tubes.

Not an instant kill but with continuous use will kill all Carpenter Ants.
I had a very large carpenter ant infestation in two of my mature oak trees, it wasn't until I lost a very large branch of the tree that I saw the large black carpenter ants in the fallen part of the tree. After some research I discovered that these ants are very active at night. Armed with a flashlight I went out to my trees around midnight and was shocked at the activity I saw, these ants had several satellite colonies around the base of the trees and were running a line up and down the trunks, thousands of ants on both trees running from top to bottom my trees were infested and these ants have obviously been there for a very long time. My knowledge of ants is that they will either eat sugar or protein so I ordered both types of bait, Max Force Gel was my sugar bait and Advance Granular was my protein bait. In late August of 2019 I started my attack, I placed a small amount of Advanced Granular out and saw that the ants ran to it almost instantly and carried it away, subsequent applications a few days apart did not have the same effect as the first application the ants would almost ignore it but by morning I would notice some bait taken. Thinking that the ants were suspicious of the granules or just changed their taste to sugar I began placing small dabs of Fleet near their lair's at the base of the trees and beside their travel lanes on the trunk of the trees. After about two weeks I completely knocked out the ants in the first tree. Gone no trace at all. The second tree with the larger infestation was now a noticeably smaller colony size but still very active. Not wanting the ants to reject the bait I applied it in the same areas about one every week and a half, spot checks every week or so showed the ant activity getting smaller and smaller, instead of thousands of ants running up and down the tree I would see a handful here and there. By the end of October 2019 the ant colony in the second tree had been eradicated, I can not find one single ant. If you have a carpenter ant infestation this will knock them out, as long as they are feeding on sugar. It's not a one and done application, be persistent and apply the bait near but not on their lanes of travel. This is a slow acting bait and eventually the colony will be eradicated. I will also note that the bait may sometimes come out of the tube a bit liquidy this isn't an issue the ants don't care, remember you only need to place pea sized drops in a few various places where they roam. Out of the four applicators provided in the box it took 2 1/2 of them and 2 months to wipe out all of the ants. If this review was helpful to you please click that it was. Good luck

Expired Product, order somewhere else
While the Bayer Maxforce Fleet is a great product, Amazon is shipping very old stock. I ordered this in April 2026 and received product that was manufactured in January 2022, so over 4 years old. The active ingredient, Fipronil, has a typical shelf life of up to 3 years. While the ants may still take the bait, the active ingredient will not be affective on the colony. I would try to purchase this from somewhere that has newer stock.

Box was missing piece, but this stuff works
My first order arrived with everything complete. The second order was missing ant bait tubes, plunger and the needles. I didn't realize that the order was deficient because I didn't open the box until after the allowable time to return it. Live and learn. I was disappointed that the order was wrong because this stuff really does work! Within just a few days of applying, them big assed carpenter ants were gone! I will order more even though the second order was missing components. I like that the gel can be applied precisely and in small crevice's with the applicator needle. 5 stars if the kit was complete.
