Good for Recipes
This is a good product to keep around, especially if you enjoy using cider vinegar in recipes. The smell is quite pungent when opening the package, although it doesn't pack quite the wallop in taste as its fresh liquid counterpart. Excellent to use in shelf stable (meals in a jar) recipes when you only want to require water to finish the recipe, or just in case you happen to run out of vinegar to use in everyday cooking.

delicious powder which reeks of vinegar when the packaging comes appart in shipping.
This powder is pretty good stuff; it's definitely very very fine powder, not granules or anything. It'll go well on anything I want to add a tart flavor to. Sadly, one star off because the particular package came appart in shipping, so little bits of vinegar powder were poofing out when we got it, and the bag was coated on the inside. Fortunately, only a couple teaspoons were lost, and I promptly stuck it into a jar, so no real harm done. That said, if it had been raining, ugh. That would have been a mess indeed!The product itself is really good though, so for taste I'd say 4 stars.

Very disappointing!
So, bought this in hopes of adding the flavour of malt vinegar to haddock after cooking. Tried using product during cooking and after cooking, but just no taste of malt vinegar - at all. When you open the plastic jar/container, it is jam packed and messy, and you can’t say they skimped filling it.If you taste the product straight from the container there is a faint malt vinegar taste and you’re initially happy with it, but once it’s on your food - nil. For those who don’t know, Haddock is a very mild fish so if no flavour on it - forget flavouring any other fish!After several tries I would not recommend this product. It is way too expensive considering it doesn’t add the flavour expected. IMO.I’ll be back to using liquid malt vinegar.
