ClarksMen's Tilden Plain Derbys

First pair of shoes that I have ever bought online and so not tried on before purchase. Well actually second having bought a different brand in black a week before. Very comfortable and did not need 'breaking in'. After several usages I can see no evidence of heel wear unlike the aforementioned another pair that started to wear badly after about 3 usages. Not tight across the top of the foot (unlike my other online purchase).I did notice the heel started to blister a little but that is more commonplace for shoes. In my experience that does go away.Lesson learned though is that if you buy online and have any doubts over comfort, especially if they pinch or feel tight on top of foot) then return them. Don't use them in the hope (or just through laziness) that they will get better over time. I suspect my other online purchase will end up in the bag for the charity shop within a month or so after I finally give up on them

Good lining. Comfortable and a good site of comfortable weight. Good grained leather.

Was able to wear these straight from the box to a wedding. They are fairly lightweight and feel decent quality. Can’t really comment on durability as they’ll only be worn to a few events per year. The size was perfect for me.

It took quite a while to get used to wearing this style of shoe as it felt like the back was rubbing on my heal.Once I had worn them in the fit great.

Comfortable and reasonably priced. Hope they last as long as the last pair.

Size was spot on. No breaking in needed, these shoes were comfy right out of the box.Nice and smart, will buy again when needed...
