This product is very useful when using our new flat top griddle!

If you own any type of blackstone or flat griddle you need this kit! Everyone hates to clean after cooking especially a complicated flat griddle or blackstone griddle. You cannot clean them like you clean a pot, pan, dishes, or even a cast iron. You need specific items that are all included in this kit and it is just perfect. I no longer dread cleaning my blackstone any more. These products work great and the extra scour pads and cleaning blocks is perfect for when you run out. This kit will last you a long time! The scraper helps me scrape all the gunk out that sticks to the griddle. I usually use the scraper and the scour pads more than I uses the stone. Stone is definitively needed occasionally but not as smuch as the scraper or scourpad.

I acquired this set for use with my Traeger Grill (not griddle) and it works well enough, but it seems to be better suited to a griddle. It certainly works, but it is hard to get into the space between the grates.I do like that it comes with so many replacement scouring pads and blocks and that they have handles to help get more leverage without covering your hands in grill grease. The scraper is quite nice for situations where I do put a flattop onto the grill--very sturdy and a good width.

We use our griddle quite a bit, and though it's outside and covered, it still gets some rust and buildup on it. I always use the scraper after every time I use it, to scrape all of the little bits off the griddle surface. While the griddle surface is still hot, I squirt a little water on it, which will loosen up most of the stuck-on bits of food. Then I use the scraper to push it into the grease catcher. To give it an extra cleaning, I then wet the scrub pad and get the rest. I then wait until the surface dries, then reapply some oil to it to coat it for future use. It is starting to get some buildup on the sides, and even a little on the surface, so I will be using the cleaning blocks to remove all of that buildup, and will then re-season it. Not sure how this kit will work on a grill, but it works very well on our griddle, and would certainly recommend it.

LIKES: worked to restore griddle as advertised. easy to use. has tools for long term maintenance of griddle. DISLIKES: none to report. HOW USING: I used this to restore my Blackstone griddle. It was rusted pretty bad so I used all of the grinding pads. I use the green abrasive pads after each meal to clean the griddle. RECOMMENDATION: Yes, it made the job doable at a convenient price. I now use the green abrasive pads to keep the griddle clean after uses and I also use them to maintain my hotdog rollers too.

Sooner or later your rolled cold steel flattop griddle will rust. This is despite how well you may have it seasoned if you leave it or in the elements, even with a hard and/or soft cover. The grill brick will help to remove the rust and seasoning to get you back to stage zero. That way you can re-season the griddle and bring it back into good shape. This kit is awesome with how many grill bricks and brillo pads you get. The pads are just easily pushed down into the understood of one of the hacks that has teeth that like into the pad and grab onto it. The grill brick handle has rails on the sides that the brick is slid in between. You can't mix the two handles up so don't worry. The scraper is always a fantastic tool to have for a flattop to scrape, push and pull all the gunk into the grease catch. This is a must buy for any flattop owner.

This grill cleaning set is great, the pumice stone made quick work on the rust. The green scrubbing pad got any rust the stone missed. The inlcuded scraper is nice for cleaning after cooking.
