As the person who's paid for the games, I notice that people who haven't are often not as careful with my games as I would like.This helps protect the cards in many games from grubby/oily fingers while at the same time making them much easier to shuffle.Note the size: there are many different sizes for game cards and if yours are a mm or two larger, they won't fit in these.Worth buying in bulk if you have loads of games: this gets the price for each one nearer the 'penny'.

These sleeves do not offer much in the way of protection from bending and folding cards, however my son has a number of cards that he like to actively play with and some of them are getting worn and dog eared, these are great flexible protection sleeves which will hopefully make them last a little longer.Easy to fit and remove the cards as well and coupled with the great price, I think that these are a must for any avid card enthusiast.

As someone new to penny sleeves I admit I found myself surprised at how thin these are, even after being 20% thicker than others of its kind (something I notice Guard-It chooses to do with most of its sleeves), while they won't protect from bending as they are soft sleeves they do everything else you want sleeves for and are quite easily to see through making it worth potentially coating your whole playing deck with something like these won't make too big of a difference to the amount of cards you can fit within a deck box. As with others its obvious they want you to buy the higher pack sizes which I usually don't care for as bundles can get massive however 1000 sleeves at 1.1p per sleeves (as compared to 3.1pps for the 125 pack) seems pretty recommendable for a collector that wants to keep most of their cards (including the more common ones) in good shape for longer.

PVC and acid free penny sleeves are brilliant for protecting your cards. Especially handy for sleeving even if youre putting cards in a binder as binder pages are often not acid or pvc free and damace cards in long storages, so these help protect from that as well as regualr scratches if used for play.

I would like to pretend I know a lot about card collecting, I do not. I am reliably informed by someone who is very keen on keeping their collection safe that these are a must have for 'valuable' Pokemon cards and by valuable, in our houses at least, I think that just means favourite because we don't have anything worth any money! As I've often found Pokemon card collecting is a big hit around supper time when fingers can get jammy, it's probably best to keep favourites protected. These are decent quality guards that add an air of seriousness to any Pokemon collector resulting in kudos in the playground. We've also pored over cards kept in exactly these guards down at the local market where they have second hand cards. So I I reckon they must be pretty reliable; they also feel fairly substantial to me. With 125 in a packet we have enough to keep every "special" card safe. If any of the 'special' cards turn out to actually be 'special' (unlikely) they may find themselves removed from the 'guard-it's and magically transformed into a fortnight for two on a yacht. But for now they are doing an excellent job.

These sleeves are transparent on both sides and feel smooth. They are penny sleeves and so offer a basic level of protection to the cards inside (they are not that rigid). According to the description they made from non-PVC, acid-free materials, so suitable for longer term card storage. A card with information about the sleeves is included in the pack. The sleeves are suitable for Pokémon or Magic the Gathering TCG cards but have slightly more space at the edges than some other sleeves when used for these types of cards (A few mm gap at the open end - see picture). Cards slide in and out easily. These are a good option for basic card storage.

Do what they're meant to! They are very smooth and so are a bit slippery. It can be a bit fiddly when playing or shuffling when you have many. Good for long term storage and for cards that are two sided.
