7 inch Touch Screen IPS LCD Display, Mini HDMI Portable Monitor 1024x600 for Raspberry Pi/Laptop/PC/Game Console

I bought this monitor for a very limited purpose. My gaming PC is connected to a 4k projector, which takes a little while to warm up. The PC is also attached to an HDMI switcher, so there's a few steps when the PC is turned on to get it to display. If I'm trying to play a VR game or stream a game to another PC, doing all of these steps was pretty annoying just to turn on the PC and log into Windows (and then have to turn the projector back off again). Therefore, this tiny low res monitor makes logging in a lot less annoying. The fact that it's touch is a nice addition. I've only had it for a few days, so I can't speak to long-term durability, but I'll definitely update if it dies on me.

This screen works well with VenusOs. I got it working on a Raspberri 3 and a Rpi4. The text is neat and crisp. There is some screen flicker in graphical mode, but for my purpose (Victron monitoring system) that is not a deal breaker. Also, compared to other models, the rear part is completely flat and no electrical components are sticking out, which is a plus. There no real easy way to put a bezel around it, since there are only 2 tapped holes in the back. But for the price a nice little screen. I am considering buying a second as a Klipper screen.

good but needed something else

There is damage (looks like yellow paint or something) at the bottom of the display. The display itself has a cloudy haze around the outside of the image, and the instruction booklet was folded/up already damaged when I opened the box. This is clearly an already used item that someone else returned. Also, the power connection is Micro-USB, not USB-C like in the photos OR USB-A like in the description.I have requested a replacement and will update this review accordingly if what I receive next time is the actual product I paid for.

Got this to use for my PC as a media display (Displaying Spotify, Tidal, etc). Works great with a minor Windows issue with the touch, but after the calibration, it is perfect. Colors are nothing to awe over, but for basic things are fine. (Gradients will have a lot of banding)

Was a little worried ordering this without any reviews on it, but it came as advertised. No problems with the functionality, screen is bright and works well.There is a minor issue with the cables included. It needs a HDMI-to-mini HDMI cable. It comes with a HDMI-to-HDMI and an adapter, which would be fine, but there is not really enough room where it plugs in for the adapter and the two cables you have to plug in press against each other and sit at a little bit of an angle. It is fine for now, but I do worry that the stress will negatively affect the connection over time.

Haven’t really been able to get this to work right yet. The usb power jack is too close to the hdmi port and I can’t get both to fit at the same time.

Me funciono perfecto con mi raspberry, tiene muy buena imagen y fue fácil de reconocer, no tuve que instalar ningún driver ni nada.
