Almost perfect
The only thing wrong with this torch head is you have to open and close the propane valve. If they could come up with a means to shut off the gas completely with an electronic control when you’re done, it would be everything I want. But I don’t expect that anytime soon, so this product is as good as it gets right now.

High visibility is a plus!
I got this torch for my plumbing tool kit since it has the built in ignitor. It is a nice torch head, but only gets 4 stars, because I think the execution is a bit lacking. Specifically, the ignitor trigger on mine gets stuck occasionally, and lacks the reliability of my old flint sparker. I do like the adjustability of the know, the flame pattern, and the high visibility coloring, which is why it gets 4 stars. The torch once ignited works well and offers a comfortable grip even on the stubby camping propane cylinders, which is a plus if you have to manipulate the torch. Overall, I am happy with this torch, but would like it if the ignition trigger were made/assembled a little bit better.

Nice torch head, works well
I wasn't sure about this torch head when I first got it. It's made of a cheaper looking lightweight plastic, doesn't seem like it would hold up too well under lots of wear and tear. But so far so great... love it. It makes lighting fires and my grill so much easier. It adds just a bit more length to my propane torch and I can turn it on at the propane tank and then just use the ignite button on the trigger start igniter. Works great... way better than expected. Would recommend

Quick and simple if you do not have a torch
Reviewed: Propane Torch Head with Igniter, Trigger Start, for MAPP/MAP Pro Torch, Turbo Torch Kit, Welding, Soldering (Fuel not included)I thought this was one of the torches that stop the flow of gas when you release the trigger but it does not. This simply lights it for you when you press the trigger. If you need a simple torch occasionally this might fit the bill. This is however only marginally more convenient than a regular torch that needs to be lit.

Won't light 90% of the time.
This torch is made from really low grade materials and won't light consistently. I took it camping and you have to turn it off or so low you can't detect it's on, and click away! If you turn it off, begin clicking to ignite, then slowly turn it on, you can get it to light more frequently. I don't like this and don't recommend it.

An Excellent Device At A Fair Price
I like the feel of this igniter.Usually, when connecting to a propane tank, there is a release of gas. It is enough of a release to be annoying.I did not encounter this issue with this igniter. And yes, one squeeze of the trigger ignited the gas.The controls are large enough to be used with gloves on.The nozzle is at a good angle. And the flame is good. Now, all I need is something to work on.This igniter is an excellent device at a fair price.

Able to turn down really low
I needed a torch that I could turn down really low like a lighter and this one does that. It is comfortable to hold and use. Any adjustment to the flame, on off up down, is done with the knob on the back. The trigger only operates the igniter, not the on and off flow of gas. The reason I"m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because in order to light using the trigger igniter, you have to turn the gas all the way up.

A good torch trigger
Easy to set up and get started and the trigger start with igniter worked well.
