It is my first RUB purchased from this Big Jacks brand. I must say that I was impressed, beyond expectations. An explosion of scents, spicy, sweet, simply fantastic.This product is perfect for my marinated chicken and is also used for pork before air fryer or oven cooking. It was very lovely and a good mix of BBQ spices but not too spicy for me so I had to add a little chilly powder to make my dishes perfect for my level of flavour.. ...The taste is not overpowering and brings out the flavours of the chicken just right. and smell is also very nice. Perfect for adding rich, balanced flavour to my roasted chicken.The rub arrived in a flip-top plastic jar with some sprinkler holes but the only negative thing is once you open the flip lid it doesn't close again so I had to change the bottle to make the rub mix stay fresh.Very tasty overall

I do a lot of BBQs and grilling so I'm always on the lookout for new rubs and this one I hadn't tried before looked ideal.I've used Green Olive before for my charcoal, so was looking forward to trying this. The rub comes in a nice small tub and is easy to dispense. It has a long use by date and I have been impressed with it so far. I've tried it with both pork and chicken, and it adds a nice flavour without being too overbearing or spicy. Unlike some, it's no too salty and I do like it. Recommended.

I’m quite impressed with this, to be honest. OK it contains anti caking agents but then I want to be able to actually get the stuff out of the bottle.Easy to apply, good taste with a bit of a spicey kick to it. Works well to get that Sunday dinner supermarket bought chicken up to a whole new level.Solid four stars.

This is a review for Big Jacks chicken BBQ rub, I ordered this rub as we are trying to eat less red meat, and I was running out of new ideas to make chicken more interesting.The rub arrived in a flip top plastic jar, which contains 200ml of the rub. It has a best before date that is 16 months away, so it's very long lasting.It smells quite strongly of garlic, but it's a mixture of quite a lot of herbs and spices, all of which go well with chicken.It is easy to use, I just put it straight onto the chicken, left it a short time to marinate, then cooked it in the oven. The taste was really pleasant, there is a tiny hint of heat from the chilli and cayenne pepper, but even my spice hating husband thought it was nice, so I do think its suitable for most palates. I really enjoyed it, and I'm happy to recommend it.

This BBQ seasoning rubs effortlessly enhanced the dry and flavourless taste of my food. It is 200ml and I don't need to use too much also to get the taste. I will try to use this on different meats. It is also a little bit spicy but the more the better.

It's a plastic tub with flip open lid. It's a 200ml pot, so in my opinion very expensive for the size.It does have a great flavour and I love the smell when you open it.But it's not natural, it contains E621 and is also mainly anti caking agent. So perhaps not suitable for people with food sensitivities.

I've seasoned chicken thighs and wings with this. It does have good flavour but you'll have to use a good amount of it. It's aromatic and does make the chicken orange once oven-cooked. Be generous with the coating and the flavour will be tasty.

Tastes good, I like to shake it over home made chips as well to give them some nice flavour
