I have used Probiozyme for years combined with Purebiotic to help heal my gut. It really aids in my digestion and helps break down carbs, fats, dairy, and protein. I ordered this biotic and enzyme combo. It says three capsules are a serving, and there are 30 servings in a bottle. However, it says you only need to take one before each meal. I'm too tired to do all the math with breaking down the amounts to see if that is enough to help me as I'm always open to trying new enzymes. Maybe somebody that has that all at the top of their head can chime in. My body has not been able to do what it needs to do with food, so I have to take enzymes with every meal. I tried to take them about 20 minutes before a meal, but that doesn't happen often as I forget. These are easy to take, and I don't eat three times a day and fast often, so these will last me longer. I always have to take psyllium husks every time I take biotics or enzymes otherwise I get too backed up. So far, it has just came with the territory as they all seem to do that to me. And I can have some major consequences if I forget to take fiber with these. In fact, I have issues now because of when I first started taking these types of supplements and not being able to figure out how to not let things back me up too much. I also take iron that can do the same thing. Then sometimes if certain things in your body are not doing well, adding fiber can really make you not feel well, so it's been quite the mess to figure everything out. Anyway, they seem to be helping me. I noticed when I eat big meals that causes me the most issues, so I try to avoid that, thank you.

This is a quality blend of enzymes from a trusted brand. As a functional nutritionist, I’ve been using several of MD Prescriptive’s products with great results. I like that this enzyme has the addition of bacillus coagulans, which is a popular probiotic. Digestive enzymes and probiotics can be very beneficial to those who need them. I have been using other brands for years now with amazing results, so I had to give these a try and compare. These have been just as effective for me as my other quality, name brand enzymes. I plan to continue purchasing these as I appreciate the addition of the probiotic which seems to help a particular issue that I have (that amazon won’t let me name here, but lets just say I have a tendency to get “backed up” sometimes and this helps). I also really like that these come in a glass bottle as plastic is so bad for our bodies and the environment!

We make fewer digestive enzymes as we get older and I notice more digestive issues with large meals or those heavy in fat or protein after I hit 50. The bottle says the dose is 3 capsules but I have found even 1 or 2 can work depending on the size of the meal. Taking this a few minutes before the meal helps relieve that overly full feeling and makes meals more comfortable. No side effects like bloating or cramping. Easy to swallow. Really like the amber glass jar and all the capsules were in good shape. Love that the only fillers are rice flour and bamboo extract. I have tried other digestive enzyme brands and these are better than most of them.

The enzymes are good for breaking down fat and helping your body digest food better. I think it's a good idea to change what you're taking every once in a while. It has different probiotics than I am used to taking. The serving is 3 capsules, and there's a month's supply in each bottle. They are rather large capsules, but they are smooth and easy to swallow. I don't know if they will replace my usual probiotics, but they are good for a changeup.
