ALTEC VISION Sunglasses Case - Large Size - Fits Most Big Glasses and Sunglasses

This clam shell case is sturdy and extra big. I carry an oversized purse and this case is perfect for me. I keep big bulky sunglasses in mine. It's huge and I imagine this may be problematic for some. It will absolutely protect your specs. A cleaning cloth is included. I purchased the gold case; it's shiny and I think it's pretty. The inner lining insert is not the best quality. I had a case similar to this for years and eventually the insert cracked. I never had an issue with the insert scratching my lenses or damaging my glasses in any way. This is an affordable and super tough case. Hard on the outside... not so soft on the inside. It will do.

This case is perfect for oversized sunglasses. Good price too.

Love the color and how sturdy the shell is.I have some clear, square framed Warby Parker glasses that I only need to use when driving at night. They only fit in the case they came in (which is beautiful) if you fold it just the right way, and angle the frames slightly up, very carefully, with a full moon and a slight breeze for luck.Ok I'm just kidding, but seriously... The Warby Parker case is so tight you can't just toss your glasses in there quickly without bending your frames. And I don't have a full 2 minutes to try and fold my glasses into it's case while I'm driving. Which is why I got this case.I would definitely NOT call this case "XL". I think my glasses are large, but I've had bigger ones (like the oversized glasses that old ladies wear) and very large, oversized glasses would NOT fit in here. My glasses fit, but not flat. I have to drop them in kind of vertically, near the hinge, where the case is the widest. Which is fine. I can deal. At least it doesn't bend my frames when I do that.The case itself ifs very FAT (wide) which I'm sure helps for rounded glasses. You can even fit a small mircofiber cloth in there, because it's noce and deep. However, the length (near the hinge) isn't long enough to be considered "XL" glasses, IMO. Especially because the ends of the hinge area taper inward, to curve. So where you need room the most, it tapers off.All in all, good enough, and very cute design. But if you have very big glasses (like for example the driving sunglasses that go over old people's perscription glasses, that are huge) they will not fit well.

This hardshell oversized clamshell sunglass case fits my Oakley Ridgelines perfect. I have no complaints. I recommend this product. I will update my review in the future to see if the case stands the test of time. So far, so good. Great quality and the clam shuts perfectly. I got tired of using zipper cases when the zipper would go offline with other cases. To me, clamshell cases work the best. Overall, this was a bargain as compared to Oakleys Ellipse O case at $25.

I always carry a black purse - any season. I just love black. BUT ... when you have a black liner in the handbag and your wallet and everything else is blank - you can't find anything. I set out to get a sunglass case that wasn't black. I wanted a light/bright color so I could see it in a black handbag with a black lining. This case was and is perfect for my needs. I LOVE IT. I can always find my sunglass case and therefore, my glasses in my bottomless pit of a handbag. The metallic material has held up to banging around the bottom of my handbag with other sharp objects and tools and who knows what else. I carry a Mary Poppins handbag. If you need a punchbowl - I have it. If you need a size 13 basketball shoe - I probably have it. If you need a sewing kit - I have it. So it was important to get a case that could take a beating. This one doesn't show any wear - it's perfect.

Paid just under $7.00, so I wasn't expecting much... but to my surprise, the case ended up being durable and appears well made. Unfortunately, my husband's safety glass won't fit in it, which is what it was purchased for. He has to take the little side shields off of his glasses to make them fit, which isn't what he'd wanted, so we're still looking for something that will work for him. This is a bit bulky for our regular glasses, so we won't be using it. Does not fit our needs, but a durable item for someone with glasses that will work in this.

This thing is huge. I knew it would be bigger than others based on others' product images but did not expect it to be quite as large as it was in my hands. It can hold some really big glasses, such as those sunglasses with side panels that go over regular glasses.However, it arrived defective. The top and bottom do not align when closed, causing there to be a kind of overbite.That said, the person I got this for said she actually prefers it this way. She said she is able to close it and pry it open much easier with the unevenness. So I was going to return it but kept it because she liked it even better with it actually being defective.Still, I believe that the fact that it came broken deserves it to be docked a star.
