We tried this product and we didn't expect that the color will be muddy brown even if you cook It and it's not palatable. It doesn't look good to see and the taste very very sour. We throw away the item coz' it doesn't taste and look good at all. It can't be returned.

I've enjoyed tamarind water in restaurants and found it delightful and purchased this with great expectations as it saved me the work of processing the tamarind pods. Sad to say, the product had a "bouillon" taste that I couldn't get past. Yuck.I guess I'll have to do the work and make it from scratch next time.
