Good and sturdy
This box is good quality and a fraction of the price of others. Does the job of keeping the Christmas lights dry. But PLEASE will the manufacturer STOP putting the great big sticky label on the top of the box. It is not needed and was absolutely impossible to remove ~ gerrrrrrr :-€

Good for the price
I bought this to install Christmas lights in the garden, the box certainly looks water tight and is big enough to hold a 4 gang extension. There were more expensive ones on offer but I don't think they can work any better than this one. So happy with my purchase.

Very water resistant!
This box outstrips the grey masterplug one by far. It used to leak so I replaced it with this one. This one, I had just installed it and left overnight. Then the storm came. I found it upside down on the drive the next morning. I expected it would have filled up the lid with water and leaked inside. It was bone dry! Can't fault the box at all. I'll weigh it down with a brick inside from now on but the box can't be faulted. Great flexible silicone seals around the whole lid and a two button securing system are great features.

Annoying sticker
The product itself seems fine, should do the job nicely. However, for some unknown reason, the manufacturers decided it was vitally important to put a massive sticker on the lid (almost as big as the lid), telling you what you just bought, in case you weren't sure. Which wouldn't be so bad, if it peeled off easily - it doesn't. Instead you spend half an hour picking away at tiny shreds trying not to damage the product, soaking it in warm water, and eventually using sticky stuff remover (which stinks).Just to make it totally idiot proof, they also include an instruction manual. Seemed a bit unnecessary, but fine. Except the instructions claim you can "lock it" with the cable ties included. They weren't included. Neither were any instructions on how to use the cable ties that weren't supplied. I think a clasp where you could fit a padlock would have been better. And finally, to close it you have to hold all four wires in place, whilst at the same time closing the lid, which I'd say requires 2 pairs of hands if you don't want to trap the wires in the lid. It would have been nice if there was a separate bar to keep the wires in place when you place/remove the lid.As I said the product is fine, but could so easily have been less frustrating and annoying with just a tiny bit more thought.

Great for odd shaped cables and plugs
I've got a few different types of outdoor extension lead boxes now, but this is the only one that I can get a variety of plugs with different shapes and sizes to fit into. Its a nice large box with silicone lined cutouts for cables, and an easy to fit lid. It's not the smallest of items to hide on your driveway, but those that are don't fit what I need.

Poor build quality
Really poor build quality the seal in the lid of the box is not attached to the box, there is a very very small amount of hot glue (spider thread) on the lid that is supposed to hold it in. The seal around the perimeter of the lid is creased and out of the channel.I will have to use glue to restick and see...very poor for a product that is supposed to be IP55!!Avoid and pay a bit more for a dribox instead.
