Kingfisher Norwegian Garden Bench

purchased as reviews looked good and price was ideal, well packaged, the instructions don't mention the 2 smooth edged slats that you need to use in certain places, but having said that, it was easy enough to do, it's very light, so light the hubby was convinced it was plastic. easy to manouvre, and looks good in our yarden. really pleased.

I loved the look of this bench when I bought it thinking great just have to assemble. But no when I opened the box and removed the 12 pieces of 'lacquered hard wood' I found that the Laquer was only on one side. This is unacceptable as the bench is shown and offered as lacquered hard wood.In the end I decided to build it and Lacquered the underside myself as I am fed up with having to return items just because a company cannot be bothered to check the order before dispatch. Quality control should be monitoring this product for future customers.The good points it is quite easy to assemble and looks good when fnished.Thank you

Arrived in less than 24 hours of ordering and easily put together. Strong enough for two big built adults to sit on. Did need another coat of varnish though.

Ok overall, some of the metal bits arrived scratched depsite it being a warehouse deal 'Like New' however Amazon were quick to help in offering a part refund - with thanks.Item itself was simple to build, feels solid and my mum was happy with it. However as some other reviews note, the back of some of the strips of wood arent all varnished which is a bit of a shame and in honesty a bit stingy.Wouldnt have been happy if i'd paid the full price for it - but happy as it stands.

Put it together some days ago, quite easy for a 77 year old!Love it, just what I wanted for my patio, couldn't complain about the price, great value for money, looks smart, maybe get another later. I may put another coat of varnish on but that's just my own idea. Do not hesitate. Anyone complains, plenty more on the net for a few hundred quid!!!

Easy to assemble and very comfortable very 😀 pleased.The only thing as previously stated not been coated in varnish very well.So bought a tin of yacht varnish from Wilkinson’s for a fiver job sorted

Unstable and flimsy. Leg bent first time I sat on it. Used the wooden slats to renovate my old reliable bench.
