Absolutely first class product, put them on two dark stairs on my Dutch barge, used several times a day for the last four weeks and only one needed recharging so far. They are brilliant and priced just right as well.

Excellent solution too getting stair lighting fitted prior to discovering these little beauties an electrician quoted £300 to fit some to our staircase. Needless to say these excellent additions do the job for a fraction of the cost.

These lights are more than btmright enough to light up our stairs at night.Very useful to avoid falling over the cat, lolHowever the adhesive on the magnetic pad is not as secure as I would have hoped. I've had to reattach and/or glue a number of them in place. Maybe a small central hole would be helpful to have the option of screwing them in place.I can't comment on longevity or length of charge as we've only been using them for a week.Over all though, I'm quite happy with their performance

This motion sensor light from MIAOLIAN is quite neat. The light itself is small (8cm) and has a magnetic backplate with a corresponding magnetic mount that you stick a wall, or wherever you want it placed.I chose to put this in the garage just to light it up a bit at night when I get home from work. After sticking the magnet to a wooden shelf and placing the light on the magnet I set the light to auto. Interestingly it did not come on at all during the day and I was beginning to wonder if the sensor was working, but it is obviously slightly intelligent as when I popped out to the garage again when the sun had set it did come on when I entered its radius. The light then stayed on for around 30 seconds after I stopped moving. The activation distance doesn't seem too far off as I walked to the far end of the garage and moved around and it did not light up but after moving just a few feet forward it did come on. Our garage isn't massive, big enough for a small car and a motorbike in front (or behind depending on the time of year) with enough space to walk between the two.The sensor light is rechargeable and comes with a USB-A to C cable. The store page suggests the light should last 8 hours when set to the ON position so should not need charging regularly on AUTO, depending where you place it obviously. The light should be bright enough for most simple use cases and, because it's only held on with a magnet, you can always pick it up and illuminate the space in front of you should the need arise, and at £3.99 isn't going to break the bank.

I've installed this light in the loft. It was easy to install and does what it is meant to do: i.e. detect motion and light up. For reasons known only to himself, when we had the house rewired the electrician moved the light switch to 'just out of reach' as you ascend the loft ladder. This now sits at the immediately above and actually detects the movement of the loft door panel, illuminating the area enough for us to get to the light switch, if we need to do so. As it's now in an area where we rarely these days have to go, except to recover cat/dog carriers and an odd item, it should last for a while from being fully charged. The manufacturers state 90 day battery life between recharges and 8hrs if left on continuously so probably only 4 times a year. It is a dinky little unit, I was (for whatever reason) expecting something bigger, but it does do a good job of providing enough illumination to enable you to see the immediate area where it's placed and technically it is a nightlight so it was never going to be Blackpool Illuminations strength. There is a charging port to the side (cable provided) and the switch has on/off and auto settings. If left in the 'on' position it overrides the motion sensor and stays on, in the auto settings it will stay on for however long it detects movement or 30s. For the money this is not a bad little lighting unit with lots of applications to light dim areas or use as it's primary function which is that of a nightlight.

I have installed in this in a kitchen cupboard, I keep my cleaning stuff in there but it is weird shaped cupboard that goes round a corner so was always very dark. This brightens it up perfectly and I can actually see things now!Te light is nice compact size and comes with a cable to charge it, the light has magnetic fixtures so it is easy to remove and charge, The charge lasts a long time though.It senses motion so comes on as soon as the cupboard opens.Perfect item and very useful.
